By incorporating self-examined logical justifications into the illusory-like dependent origination and establishing it, one loses even the conventional truth. Because they establish it in such a way, thinking that the path of meaning can be accomplished thereby, they also lose the ultimate truth. Therefore, they lose both truths. As it is said in the "Entering the Middle Way": "Those who deviate from the path of the master Nāgārjuna have no means of pacification. They lose even the conventional truth itself. Having lost the two truths, there is no possibility of achieving liberation." Therefore, since the Svātantrikas are not skilled in establishing the conventional truth, they think that they are not following the system of the noble Nāgārjuna without error. They think that those teachers establish the conventional truth by following the terminology of worldly people who have not entered a philosophical system. They think that the Tathāgata established the conventional truth in accordance with the minds of worldly people and established the ultimate truth in accordance with the vision of the noble ones, and thus taught the Dharma through the gateway of the two truths. Therefore, all the wise ones call those teachers Madhyamikas who act according to worldly conventions. Although both of these Madhyamikas are similar in that they do not make any assertions in the ultimate sense, the Svātantrikas believe that the conventional truths that they themselves establish in this way are established in their own system. However, the Prāsaṅgikas establish the conventional only for the sake of others, not for their own system, because the Madhyamikas have no final commitment. As it is said in the "Entering the Middle Way": "Just as you wish to assert inherent existence by way of another, I also do not accept the conventional. Although these do not exist, they are said to exist for the sake of results. I also speak in this way to the world." Examining where the teacher's intention lies: Since the faults that the Prāsaṅgikas state fall into the views of the Svātantrikas, the system of Nāgārjuna is not without fault. But since Nāgārjuna was prophesied by the Tathāgata to explain the Tathāgata's intention without error, no one can refute his system in a way that is in accordance with the Dharma.

Because there is no limitation. The Prasangikas acknowledge the terminology of what is to be accepted and rejected as it is known in the world, and they engage in acceptance and rejection. Therefore, they are skilled in establishing conventional truth and do not fall into the extreme of nihilism. At all times, both in meditative equipoise and subsequent attainment, they do not grasp onto any characteristics of permanence, annihilation, acceptance, rejection, etc., in relation to any phenomena of samsara and nirvana, nor do they cling to them as being truly existent. Therefore, they are skilled in establishing ultimate truth and do not fall into the extreme of eternalism. Thus, this way of establishing the two truths without error is the flawless system of the noble Nagarjuna. Furthermore, this system is like a vajra jewel, which cannot be destroyed by any side. No side can overcome it, and it can destroy all factions of clinging to extremes. As it is said in the Root Verses on the Middle Way: "If emptiness is used to refute, who has an answer to speak? He does not answer everything, he becomes equal to what is to be proven. If emptiness is explained, who has a fault to speak? He does not fault everything, he becomes equal to what is to be proven." Therefore, the intention of this is very appropriate for this system. Furthermore, in the Refutation of Arguments, it says: "If I had any thesis, then I would have that fault. Since I have no thesis, therefore I am only without fault." And in the Sixty Stanzas on Reasoning, it says: "Those who have the nature of being greatest in non-contention, they have no পক্ষ (pakṣa, पक्ष, पक्ष, side/thesis/own tenet). Those who have no पक्ष (pakṣa, पक्ष, पक्ष, side/thesis/own tenet), how can they have another पक्ष (pakṣa, पक्ष, पक्ष, side/thesis/own tenet)?" And in the Four Hundred Stanzas, it also says: "To whom there is no पक्ष (pakṣa, पक्ष, पक्ष, side/thesis/own tenet) regarding existence and non-existence, even with a long time, one cannot speak of criticism." And so on. The intention of the treatises of the noble father and sons (Nagarjuna and Aryadeva) is also clearly this Prasangika Madhyamaka system, which does not conceptualize any arbitrary commitments. Even so, because this system is very profound and difficult to fathom, even some great beings who have studied the treatises of the noble Nagarjuna himself have not realized it, let alone those who are bound by the ropes of treatises clinging to inherent existence? Therefore, even in the noble land of India...
