Therefore, it arises from the cause of the three syllables. The Vajra Samaya is the great Vajradhara. All thirty-one deities are to be made into triple beings, which is to truly stimulate the mind of the Tathagatas. What is said below is the secret of all the Tathagatas, therefore it is the supreme secret of the Vajra. It should be contemplated, thus it is connected. Where to contemplate? Because it is the nature of wisdom, it is subtle, it is the wisdom being that is the same as oneself. Where to contemplate? In the center of the heart of each mandala, on top of the lunar mandala. It should be contemplated in the center of the heart of that wisdom being, on top of the moon, thus it is connected. Where to contemplate? It is the syllable, that is, the supreme word arising from the unchanging nature, indestructible, the Samadhi being, the syllable Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽). Because it causes the practitioner to definitely combine with goodness, it is a union. One should contemplate the great five-pointed Vajra, slightly open, arising from that Samadhi being. In order to stimulate the mind, the distinctions of each repeater are shown. Just as an elephant is controlled and drawn by a hook, so too, because it attracts and controls the power of the minds of all the Tathagatas, it is the Vajra hook, that is, the rays of the Samadhi being. By its union, one should contemplate the three Vajras. How to contemplate this method? With the hook made of the rays of the Samadhi being, which is the unity of the deities of the mandala, which is the nature of the three beings, one should pierce the heart of the deity to be accomplished. Having pierced in this way, one should vigorously stimulate the three beings of the deity to be accomplished, and one should generate intention for the practitioner. After generating intention for the practitioner in this way, one should block the obstructing forces in front, and having thought of receiving the command, one should command thus: "May all the Tathagatas stimulate me to bestow accomplishments." This ritual just spoken of is the Vajra, that is, it thoroughly accomplishes and attracts the Bodhicitta of the Buddhas of all practitioners. The Vajra hook of the nature of the three beings just spoken of should be contemplated in this way, and one should

This, having established in the heart, is encouraged. Practitioners of the Vajra Padma family, and likewise, the Tathagata, Jewel, and Karma families should also fully embrace it. Just as a musician changes attire, causing people to distinguish them as king, minister, and other different identities, similarly, here, only the heart vajra should be practiced. Through the complete understanding of the practitioner and the method of practice, the aforementioned heart encouragement arises like music, hence it is called the arising of music. Indicating the time or duration of encouraging the essence: By what ritual are the Tathagatas led and guided? This is the supreme way of the vajra, which is the aforementioned ritual of encouraging the essence. Such a ritual should be performed from the day it is started until the seventh day. Indicating the benefits of encouraging the essence: Having wisdom vajra, that is, practitioners, obtain it from the oral instructions of the guru, hence it is secret. If the aforementioned ritual of encouraging the essence is performed for seven days, then the body, speech, and mind of the Tathagatas to be accomplished will be accomplished in the practitioner. Why is that? Because the Tathagatas do not transgress their vows, they are fearful in their minds, and having become frightened under the control of the heart vajra, they bestow supreme accomplishments upon the practitioner with an unobstructed mind, looking upon them and taking them into their care. Having taken them into their care, what will they do? They will manifest joy in their hearts and bestow vast worldly and transcendental accomplishments. Who will bestow them? Buddhas such as Akshobhya, Bodhisattvas such as Maitreya, and accomplished beings who study the rituals of mantra practice. Indicating the faults of not encouraging the essence: If the practitioner does not make such effort, what will happen? Because they are ignorant of the non-duality of what is to be accomplished, the practitioner, and the practice, thinking, "These are the Tathagatas, and I am an ordinary person," the life of such a discriminating practitioner is taken away by karma.
