If someone doubts whether reviling and insulting the guru can also be accomplished because it is the profound vehicle, then to refute this: First, one should attend to and honor the guru, and through the stages of listening and contemplation, realize the suchness of the two truths. Then, thinking, "What can this one (the guru) do now?" one despises him through the three doors (body, speech, and mind), and even from the depths of one's heart reviles the guru. Those who, even having entered and practiced the Guhyasamaja, which liberates all sinful ones, will not achieve siddhi, what need is there to mention other vehicles? As it is said in the Glorious Magical Net: "One should not even see in a dream one who reviles the guru. Whoever reviles the guru is seized by obstacles and wrong guides. The wise should always abandon those who perform evil and violent deeds." Next, there is the explanation of the difference in conduct, which is twofold: explaining with words of the intention of non-dual wisdom, and directly explaining the conduct itself. First, in order to avoid entering the tantra arbitrarily, the non-dual wisdom is shown with words that contradict the world. As the text says, "Whoever is a being that kills life..." and so on. The meaning of these vajra words is explained by the explanatory tantra as follows: Here, what is meant by "killing life"? In the Declaration of Intentions, it says: "Whose aggregates, etc., are without substance, done by the mind arising from quiescence, that is the killing of life accomplished, abiding in the supreme vehicle." This means that a yogi who has perfected the illusory body, if he considers his own aggregates, etc., to be without substance in the clear light, and accomplishes it through the mind arising from either shamatha or vipashyana, then that is the killing of life, and he is abiding in the supreme vehicle, the clear light of ultimate truth. Then, what is considered lying? "Internal and likewise external, showing the two as interdependent, that is the liar who delights, the yogi who abides nowhere." This means that due to ignorance, the interdependent origination of internal phenomena such as formations, and the interdependent origination of external phenomena such as sprouts from seeds, both of these appearances are false like illusions because they arise from causes and conditions. If someone declares this, then he delights in lying, because he abides in no place. Like this, all dharmas

Understanding that everything is false and deceptive is the yoga of abiding in a non-abiding manner. What is attachment to the wealth of others? The verse says: The wisdom of the complete Buddha, is what should be known accordingly, what is the way to seize it? Desiring attachment to the wealth of others. Thus it is said, the wisdoms of the Buddha, such as power and fearlessness, are called the property of others. When all dharmas are understood as illusion, that which is obtained by seizing it with one's own power is called attachment to the wealth of others. What is the practice of enjoying desires? The verse says: Whoever that is, is one entity, constantly united with Suchness, that sentient being delights in that desire, and becomes a noble practitioner of supreme practice. Thus it is said, whatever yogi understands all things to be of one taste, and constantly applies the mind to the clear light of Suchness, that is called delighting in desires. What is eating excrement and urine? The verse says: Fearing emptiness is ignorance, the object is declared as excrement, the senses are called urine, the pacification of those is eating. Thus it is said, a person who fears emptiness is ignorant, and when he clings to forms etc. as objects, that is excrement, and when he clings to the eyes etc. as senses, that is urine, and the pacification of those objects and senses in emptiness is eating excrement and urine. This is the supreme Dharma of the Great Vehicle, and they become vessels for practicing it. Thus it is said, if one possesses the qualities mentioned above, one will realize the clear light. The actual explanation of conduct is twofold: the general meaning and the meaning of the branches. There are six general meanings: the nature of conduct itself, its divisions, time, avoiding the faults of criticizing conduct, the benefits of conduct, and explaining how to train in conduct. The nature of conduct itself is: to enjoy the five desirable qualities as one pleases, by means of fully understanding the nature. There are two divisions: conduct free from attachment, and conduct with attachment. There are two types of conduct free from attachment: inferior conduct, such as that of the Hearers, which is the practice of physical and verbal austerity; and vast conduct, such as that of the Bodhisattvas, which is the practice of the grounds and perfections. The former is not knowing the true path

Therefore, here the wrong paths of the way are shown. There are two kinds of conduct associated with attachment: the conduct of mantra and the universal conduct of the Protector. There are two kinds of conduct of mantra: the conduct of ordinary people and the conduct of intellectual asceticism. The conduct of ordinary people is: from the time of receiving empowerment until the attainment of accomplishment, in the post-attainment period, eating food and enjoying desires, etc., in all stages of conduct, acting in a way that fully understands the nature of things. There are three kinds of conduct of intellectual asceticism: conduct with fabrication, conduct without fabrication, and conduct with extreme non-fabrication. Each of these also has three aspects: depending on action, depending on time, and depending on thought. There are two kinds of thought: the thought of entering and the thought of meditation. There are three times for conduct: the conduct of ordinary people is done in all stages of ordinary people. There are three times for the conduct of intellectual asceticism: those who practice the generation stage, striving for common accomplishments, should study after the completion of the generation stage. Those who strive for the ultimate meaning do so in the conventional stage after the completion of mind isolation. Conduct that is not done in the conventional stage is done in the stage of union. This is what the early lamas said. It is evident that it is done in the stage of union after the completion of clear light. In the Compendium of Conduct, it says: After the completion of the three conducts, in the post-attainment, abandoning the ordinary body, one obtains the supreme accomplishment of the great mudra. Third, the time for the conduct of the Protector is only in the stage of union, because others do not generate it. It is also said: Those who abide in the state of union, the great yogis who are learning, if they do not meditate on union, they will change, and their conduct is no different from that. Avoiding the fault of arguing about conduct: Others say: If one can be liberated by enjoying the five objects of desire, then in the Paramita Vehicle it says: Desire is like a poisonous leaf, desire is like the edge of a sword, desire is like a champaka flower, etc., the five objects of desire are said to be abandoned, which contradicts the above. Answer: There is no contradiction.
