If someone asks, what about examining the non-existence of things through reasoning such as separation, and then meditating on emptiness? The answer is that meditating on all dharmas being empty because things do not exist is also incorrect. Because this is a view that clings to emptiness, and clinging to emptiness is also something to be abandoned. If meditating on emptiness is not correct either, then is it correct to meditate on the mind's clear awareness, separate from meaning, in the form of cause and effect, before and after? The answer is that it is not reasonable to meditate on the mind, clinging to the form of cause and effect before and after. Because cause and effect themselves do not exist in the ultimate truth. Because arising from oneself, from others, from both, and from no cause are not established. If meditating on mere consciousness separate from meaning is not correct either, then is it correct to meditate on the form of the external object of aspiration? The answer is that it is not. Meditating on the form of the external object of aspiration is also unreasonable. Because with the form of the external object, things such as aspiration and wishes do not exist. Therefore, meditating like external objects is without an object and does not exist. Because what appears as an external object is not other than the nature of the mind. Among them, the first line shows the liberation of emptiness by negating the essence. The second line shows the liberation of signlessness by negating the characteristics of cause and effect. The last two lines show the liberation of wishlessness by negating wishes. In this way, through the meaning of the words and the general meaning, the practice of the wisdom of the generation stage is shown. Third, the secret meaning is, when the illusory body has reached its culmination, when meditating on luminosity, what about meditating on the mind's clear awareness separate from meaning? The answer is that because there are no external aggregates and other things, meditating on mere mind's clear awareness is not the ultimate meditation on luminosity. Because the mind appears as the two, grasper and grasped, it is impure. Moreover, the mind that is free from the appearance of grasper and grasped, like a pure crystal ball, does not exist constantly. What if one meditates on conventional truth as being like an illusion? The answer is that the deity's body of the nature of conventional truth like an illusion, which is to be meditated upon, is not the awareness of the meditation on luminosity either. Because the illusory body thin
