Having received grace from the Protector, it is said that they clarified the tenets of the Mind-Only school. They are known as the great chariots of India and Tibet—Lekdenjé. This is also said by Chandrakirti and others, as well as the chief Tibetan translator, Yeshe Dé, and others. These are the founders of the Mahayana chariot. The intentions of the Mahayana sutras and tantras, if interpreted in a way that does not conform to the system of these two, are understood to be a wrong path. Thus, the four great chariot traditions of commentary arose in the noble land of India. Whatever does not conform to these systems is not within the scope of the Sugata's tenets. Therefore, all who wish themselves well should become well-acquainted with these principles, and then, when analyzing the various aspects of dharma, tenets, and philosophical schools, it will be beautiful, otherwise it will not be. In this land of snow, there are countless heretical doctrines and religions that are led by the ignorant. I see that even some of the philosophical systems that are considered authoritative by scholars cannot be trusted. The Kalachakra Root and Explanatory Tantras, the Vajra Heart Commentary, the Blissful Supreme Praise Commentary, and so on, are said to have come from Shambhala, and are said to have been composed by the lords of the ten bhumis, but if those with the wisdom to distinguish between lineages and non-lineages analyze them, they do not see a reasonable way. In the Kalachakra Root Tantra, the two syllables e-vaṃ are not present. In the Condensed Tantra, I see many internal contradictions. If the source from which it was taken is not visible, then when the Kalachakra appeared in India, masters such as Shantipa, who was known as the second omniscient one, are said not to have considered it reliable. For this reason, Master Abhaya says in the Maṇḍala Sprout: "Then, the views in the Kalachakra and other texts that follow it, which contradict the three vehicles, therefore, those named Kirti, White Lotus, Vajragarbha, and Vajrapani, who compose these texts, are not bodhisattvas." Many wise ones say this. Therefore, those who do not abandon all contradictions strive to abandon even a few contradictions. The great Vajradhara Drakpa Gyaltsen also forbade errors in root downfalls and so on. The great scholar Jomden Raldi also considered it a tantra that mixes outer and inner aspects.

Thus he spoke, and also composed treatises distinguishing between internal and external Dharma terms. Like the son of a prostitute, who would trust this person? Therefore, not seeing anything to trust in him, even in the sacred land and among the snowy mountains, some great discerning ones have analyzed him. Scholars who only read the texts are satisfied with this. In the explanation of uncommon tantras, such as the later tantras of the *Namasangiti*, *Guhyasamaja*, etc., and also in the sutras, there are collections of melodies, and in some branches of the root tantra. Although it is considered possible to be without the two syllables (ཨེ་ཝཾ,ऐवं,evam,Thus), doubts arise as to how it can be considered possible in others. Because it is the basis of the eighty-four thousand dharmas, the Able One first spoke (ཨེ་ཝཾ,ऐवं,evam,Thus). As it is said in the tantra requested by the Lord of the Gods. As quoted in the *Lamp Illuminating*, please eliminate the contradiction between that and this. "Thus have I heard at one time," do so, and collect my sutras, as the Teacher instructed the monks to collect the Dharma correctly. Why is it said, "Thus"? Why is it first connected? Is this the speech of the Sugata? Or is it spoken by the Shravakas? Please dispel my doubts, O you who have reached the end of existence. The speaker of the virtues of the sacred Dharma, having heard the words of the Lord of the Gods, gave the word "Excellent." The Bhagavan spoke thus. Why did the All-Seeing One first speak the words "Thus"? O Lord of the Gods, hold it dear in order. The eighty-four thousand aggregates of Dharma, the basis and parents of such a number, are shown in the two letters. The letter (ཨེ་,ए,e,E) is the mother, and (ཝཾ,वं,vam,Vam) is known as the father. In that bindu there is union, and that union is most wonderful. In the illusion of the two syllables (ཨེ་ཝཾ,ऐवं,evam,Thus), the All-Knowing One dwells here, therefore, at the beginning of the teaching of the sacred Dharma, (ཨེ་ཝཾ,ऐवं,evam,Thus) is explained. Thus it is said. In the *Lamp Illuminating*, here is the question: With what intention does one collect, so that in all the scriptures of all the Tathagatas, one makes the statement, "Thus have I heard"? Is it possible to indicate by saying, "Thus my word," or "Thus have I heard"? The answer is: All the Tathagatas.
