Liberation from the fault of not recognizing. The third is: Thus, the very nature of the mind, free from elaboration, clear, empty, and nakedly appearing, is to gain stability. That is, by always maintaining the natural state of that very reality, without fabrication, one is liberated from the fault of being too easy and not believing. The fourth is: What is called the Dharmakaya of all Buddhas is this very realm of mind (773), which is clear and ungraspable, beyond the limits of elaboration, and there is nothing else. It is not an emptiness without beginning that is not like this, nor is it like a vast expanse of clear appearance pervaded by bliss; those are merely the dependent arising of relative causes and conditions. The Dharmakaya is the reality of mind itself, and one is convinced that there is nothing better than what has just been introduced, and that there is no need to seek it elsewhere, thus liberating oneself from the fault of being too good and not fitting into the mind. Thus, the four faults are naturally liberated. That is, if one condenses them into essence with one's own intelligence, the nature of mind is recognized as without basis or root. Merely knowing its suchness is recognition. Maintaining it with unforgetting mindfulness is belief. Thus, the very nature of mind is determined to be the reality of the Dharmakaya, and these are condensed into four points. These are the instructions on the actual practice of the natural liberation of the four faults. The third meaning, the introduction to the subsequent spontaneous arising of the three Kayas, is: Whatever the nature of mind is, this which cannot be pointed out and is free from elaboration is the spontaneously arising Dharmakaya; this which is non-existent, which can appear in various ways, and which exists, is the spontaneously arising Nirmanakaya. These two cannot be measured by names and concepts, but are established only from the perspective of opposites; other than that, the appearance as the indivisible union is the spontaneously arising Sambhogakaya. Thus, the three Kayas are also the spontaneous arising of self-nature, and from the beginning, they did not arise newly created from the reality of self-nature, but because they will manifest from now on, they are called spontaneous arising. Now, the third general meaning, the sequence of subsequently transforming awareness into the path, has two aspects: enhancing and removing obstacles. The first has three parts. (775) First, enhancing special devotion: Generate strong devotion and longing for the root guru. Visualize the guru's form in the places of the body such as the crown of the head, the heart, etc., or in the place of residence, or in the pure land, or in the expanse of space. Continuously pray and gaze nakedly at the guru's appearance with thoughts of devotion.

From here, abiding in the state of self-arisen Mahamudra, whenever the essence of Mahamudra dawns as devotion to the Guru, then what is known as Devotion Mahamudra arises. This is not only an indispensable extraction of essence, but also the lifeblood of all Mantras, so be sure to strive. Second, extracting the essence of immeasurable compassion: First, generate gratitude and compassion towards your root parents, and once compassion has arisen, maintain it in the essence of Mahamudra (776), making it inseparable from compassion. In this way, gradually expand compassion towards sentient beings until it pervades space, and through the practice of compassion, the essence of Mahamudra dawns as compassion, which is called Compassion Mahamudra. Third, extracting the essence of special methods: From the clear words of the Wisdom Dakini, it says: Ordinary consciousness is mixed with the breath, and conceptualization and ignorance cease. The clear and empty form of the deity is mixed with the breath, and thoughts transform like the waxing moon. Dualistic consciousness is mixed with the breath, and the three bodies are accomplished in just months and years. As such, it is divided into three points. The first point is: Without any other conceptual elaborations, in the clear and empty state of non-grasping of mind, by holding the vase breath, the breath ceases from the mount of the mind (777), the sleep of ignorance disappears, and the luminosity of awareness will arise. The second point is: The clear form of the deity and the emptiness of non-grasping of mind, which originally appear as union, in this state, by holding the vase breath, the correct realization will become more profound and clear. The third point is: In the clear aspect, the deity's form, while the way of abiding is emptiness, free from elaboration, self-luminous, and great bliss, by meditating on the great vase breath, ultimately the essence of the profound, clear, and blissful three bodies will be quickly accomplished. This is the actual accomplishment of the undisputed Mantra Mahamudra. Second, removing obstacles, divided into the experiential aspect and the conceptual aspect. The first point is: Attachment to bliss, clarity, and non-conceptuality, without refuting or establishing anything, but letting it develop naturally. The second point: All phenomena are the self-nature of conceptual thought (778) appearing as emptiness, therefore, the acceptance and rejection of virtue and vice become lax, and compassion and devotion do not arise. Therefore, compassion and devotion should be emphasized. Thus, the extremely precious instructions of Mahamudra, Gau
