In short, purifying the three doors of body, speech, and mind is to purify the various karmas accumulated in samsara through the three doors. The protection wheel refers to the seeds of karma being sown in the mind and being held without being consumed. Supplication and accumulation of merit and virtue are to supplicate the seeds sown by the karma of projecting with the karma of accomplishing. Accumulating wisdom is the dissolution of the aggregates and elements into clear light at the end of the previous life. Meditating on the mandala of the support is to purify the place and direction where one will take rebirth. Furthermore, the four elements and Mount Meru represent the parents' bodies. The lotus represents the secret lotus. The various vajras represent the vajra of skillful means. The lotus, sun, and terrifying times also represent the mother's womb's channels and elements, as well as attachment, aversion, and ignorance. In between generating the mandala of the support, (154) the mind itself appears as a form, yet is able to see the four elements, Mount Meru, etc. This symbolizes the existence of the bardo itself, that is, attaining enlightenment from the emptiness of dharmata. The red and white moon represents the red and white essences of the mother's womb. Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Hūṃ) represents the intermediate state entering into it. The two phases of expansion and contraction, together with their fusion, represent the gradual development of the fetus in the womb. The complete perfection of the body is being born from the womb and being seen by all. Inviting the wisdom being represents that immediately after birth, the body grows by relying on the movement of breath, as well as gross conceptual thoughts and activities such as food. Armor and blessing of body, speech, and mind represent the increase in the power of the senses and the three doors of body, speech, and mind. Empowerment represents the completion of the body and abiding in the activities of one's own lineage. Offering, praise, and recitation represent the various things enjoyed and done throughout one's life. Gathering near represents the final dissolution of the aggregates (155) and elements into clear light, which is death. Rising as the deity form from the session represents taking rebirth in the six realms again, etc. Therefore, meditating on this yoga of the generation stage is able to purify those various phenomena of samsara. The way it becomes a ripening factor for the completion stage is: the initial accumulation of wisdom and the final gathering near are what lay the foundation for the clear light of the completion stage of the path. From the first direct realization of enlightenment up to the time of meditating on the mandala of the support, purifying

The establishment of the three empowerments and the protective circle, the accumulation of merit, etc., are the maturing factors for dreams, illusory bodies, excellent faculties, etc. The latter four Abhisambodhis are the maturing factors for Tummo. The occasion of the Samaya Being and the invitation of the Wisdom Being are the maturing factors for the illusory body. Empowerment, offering, praise, etc., are common to all. Although it is not necessary to actually combine the two aspects of the limb Dharma (156), if one wishes, it can be understood by combining similar types. Transference merges into clear light. From that, from the appropriate time, combine with the deity of close attainment and the intermediate state transition. Now, let's slightly combine the words of the root source Tantra. The protective circle is from the "Abhisamaya-alamkara, the Chapter on the Guru": The net and the fence are just like that, the Vajra ground, etc., are blessed. The net of the banner pole arrow and, the Vajra fire is well surrounded. Place it far away on the outside. So it is said. The merit field and so on can be understood by the general order of mantra. The scriptural authority for the accumulation of wisdom merit has already been cited above. The four elements and Mount Meru, etc., are from the Root Tantra: The place where the cow lies down and above it, the remainder is the root place of drying. So it is said. Also, not making a palace with doors, but only making a lotus, is from the Root Tantra: On the top of the mountain, various lotuses, in the center (157) arise Ali and Kali. So it is said. Here, although there are no actual letters of Ali and Kali, Ali represents the white part of the moon, and Kali represents the red part. The scriptural authority for the five Abhisambodhis has been cited. The mandala of the single essence deity is from the forty-eighth chapter of the Root Tantra. After the mandala of the sixty-two deities has been spoken of, it is said again: The Yogini is the Dakini herself, the Form Mother and the Severed-birth Mother, likewise Lama and so on, all accomplishments are virtuous. Thus, repeating the four essence Yoginis, it is said, which is the teaching. Among others, there are four skull cups. Inviting the Wisdom Being is: After contemplating the Wisdom Wheel, through the combination of mantra and mudra, well enter the Samaya Wheel. So it is said from the Yogini Samucchaya. The blazing mudra is from both the Abhisamaya-alamkara (158) Samucchaya. Similarly, from the Abhisamaya-alamkara, the Chapter on the Guru: By proclaiming the sound of Phe (Tibetan: ཕེ༚) above, residing in the ten directions of the world.
