Red gathering. Visualize a blue E (Tibetan: ཨེ) in the left nostril and a red VAM (Tibetan: བཾ) in the right nostril, then forcefully inhale the upper air. These two letters are crushed like sesame seeds in the left and right channels, reaching the tip of the nose at the three-way junction. Vigorously recite HUM (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ) nine times and raise the lower air, causing E (Tibetan: ཨེ) and VAM (Tibetan: བཾ) to enter the central channel, ascending all the way to the crown of the head. Eighth, exchanging the winds: Visualize your own body as a clear empty form of the deity. Directly below the navel, there is an eight-spoked wind wheel, bluish-gray in color, about six finger-widths in size. In the center of the wheel, visualize a letter A (Tibetan: ཨ) like an upright BHANDHUJIVAKA flower. Suppress the upper air, causing it to gather at the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ). Raise the lower air, causing the two winds to clash, thereby activating the navel's wind wheel, making it larger and larger until it fills the sky. Sometimes, also visualize it spinning like a potter's wheel. When exhaling, visualize the wheel shooting out like an arrow, far away towards the Brahma aperture. When inhaling, visualize it returning to the navel. Ninth, entering the central channel: Sit in the vajra posture. Place the vajra-clasped hand mudra face down in front. Straighten the elbows and body, controlling it from all aspects. Gaze at the crown chakra. As before, clearly visualize the empty form of the deity and the three channels. At the upper end of the central channel is HAM (Tibetan: ཧཾ, Devanagari: हं, Romanized Sanskrit: haṃ, Literal meaning: ), to the right is E (Tibetan: ཨེ), and to the left is VAM (Tibetan: བཾ). Inhale the upper air, causing these three letters to reach the junction of the three channels. Then, with nine long HUM (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ) sounds, raise the lower air, causing the other two letters to also enter the central channel and dissolve into the crown of the head. Once familiar with this, visualize the lower ends of the two channels as the forms of the letters E (Tibetan: ཨེ) and VAM (Tibetan: བཾ). As before, raise the lower air, causing these letters to enter the central channel. Thus, the two channels also enter the central channel, reaching the crown of the head. Furthermore, suppress the upper air, visualizing it reaching the secret place, practicing this repeatedly. If you have not fully mastered the previous one, the next one will not be taught. Through these methods, the upper air can flow downwards, the lower air can flow upwards, the root air can enter the branches, and the branch air can enter the root. If there is an obstacle to the air, it should be adjusted as if widening a road. Second, training to awaken experience through vajra water drinking, including the rituals of awakening, maturing, and increasing. First, in a secluded place, nourish the body, apply ghee to the entire body and the vajra. Massage for a long time and expose to the sun. After doing this for a few days, sit in the lotus position on a comfortable cushion, with hands on the knees. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cross your legs in the lotus position, straighten your body, tighten your waist, and practice to erect the central channel (Skt: avadhuti). Relax your back, and draw the lower air forcefully upward with nine long 'Hūṃ' (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: seed syllable). Visualize the central channel as straight as an arrow shaft from the crown of your head to the vajra passage (referring to the genitals), and at the tip of the vajra passage, there is a white drop the size of a bean, rising upwards to the crown of your head. When the upper air slowly pushes, visualize it reaching the secret place (referring to the genitals), and practice repeatedly. If you feel pain in your waist or back, rotate your waist and straighten your body upwards. If you have a headache, move your head. If your upper body hurts, shake your upper body. Then, use a metal or bamboo catheter of moderate thickness, about a span or four fingers in length, and insert it into the vajra passage. Let it reach the perineum between the anus and the urethra. Forcefully press down the upper air, and keep the front air still. Push the rear air downwards as if squeezing water. If the air can rise smoothly upwards, it means you have mastered the method of moving the upper air downwards. Then, insert a catheter about one finger's width into the vajra passage. Press down the front air, and forcefully pull up the rear air, or press down the rear air and pull up the front air. Through movements like a turtle contracting, little by little, finally converging the air at the root of the vajra, it means you have mastered the method of moving the lower air upwards. Like this, repeatedly push outwards and pull inwards. Massaging is very important in between each movement. Second, the method of awakening is: fill a goose egg or bladder with ewe's milk at body temperature, adding good saffron, sugar, and red lotus. Insert the catheter of the secret place into it, and seal all the edges with dough. Then, practice as before, gradually allowing the air to pass through one-third, two-thirds, and finally completely. Afterwards, you can also use conch shells or bowls to practice passing through. Then, practice mixing milk and blood, or practice with blood alone, as before. Do not leave these in the body, but expel them. After doing this, throw your head back, and maintain the body posture and breath as before. Then, press down the upper air and bend your head forward. If the air comes out of both nostrils, it is a sign that the life air has become one. The way to avoid the air not coming out of the nostrils is: do not throw your head back, but bend it forward. Finally, if you can do it without a catheter, you have reached the level of mastery. Third, the method of increasing is: if you cannot do the above, insert a catheter and clear the channels by blowing air or squeezing a bladder filled with air. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
