Sometimes entering into other (sects), sometimes coming into Buddhists, mastering their tantras, yet without any distinction. One's own friend Atisha (尊者), distinguishing and saying that this is the order of emptiness, just as Ksitigarbha (菩萨) became the most excellent disciple is certain. Like this, the emptiness of entering the path of the fourth empowerment must also bind the source of purity where mind and assembly are one. This can only be achieved through the uncreated, because all creations are the very origin of samsara. Then, how does one bind the source of purity? The self-light co-emergent with mind, due to the movement of the constructing wind, manifests as an object by the power of red fire, and relying on that, white water arises. From this arises the subtle clinging to self, which is different from the object, and the gross appearances, with earth as the main element, are the order of arising. Therefore, determining that the root of everything lies in the mind, striving to bind the mind, freeing it from grasping and being grasped. Through a moment of the mind, making the flow of appearances unobstructed. After that, everything will become its play. In this way, all the channels will become the central channel, all the winds will become the winds of wisdom, and all the bindus will become indestructible bindus. Second, binding the wind in the vastness of non-discrimination, and bringing appearance into the path of encounter. First, relax the body and mind, let the speech-wind flow naturally. If the mind focuses on concepts such as signs, it will be bound in samsara; if it is left to its own devices, it will be liberated. The great teacher Toktsepa said: 'Guided by the impurity of discrimination, one's own mind becomes impure. Through the nature of non-discrimination, because it is free from impurity, it is Buddhahood.' Such a way is to let go of the mind that strives for the meaning of making equal the hope for results and the fear of samsara. One should do yoga in the real, uncreated mind that is nothing. Having done so, it may remain for a moment or two, and so on. Do not consider a long stay as a virtue, nor a short stay as a fault, but meditate in this way. From some time onwards, awareness will flow continuously like the tip of a lamp or a river. Furthermore, the great translator Je (Je Lotsawa) once said: 'Because the root is based at home, one must strive to grasp the consciousness. Meditation is to be achieved through later awareness.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

'There is no patch to be sewn on the mind.' The Lord of Yoga (Tibetan: རྣལ་འབྱོར་དབང་ཕྱུག) said, 'If the mind is not left as it is, it cannot be mended with antidotes.' Second, the way to make appearances into companions: When the eyes see nakedly, in the interval between the cessation of the previous consciousness and the arising of the subsequent one, there is no consciousness moving like a bird's path, nor is there any elaboration. To abide in that equality is to abide in equanimity. Therefore, all appearances of conceptualization will become a taste-alike samādhi (Sanskrit: samarasatā-samādhi) in the original essence. As it is said, 'Knowing that appearances are the nature of the mind, there is no need to adorn them with antidotes.' When afflictions such as hatred arise, do not deliberately suppress them, but look at them themselves, and they will become taste-alike. The method of training awareness: by examining the experience of awareness itself, it will appear as emptiness free from elaboration, without location or parts. As it is said, 'Do not abide in location or parts, but look to the house of space free from elaboration.' The means of spontaneously perfecting the five bodies without effort: the body is not adorned, speech is free, the mind does not cling, and awareness abides in its original state. Thus, in all activities of walking, standing, sitting, and lying down, the co-emergent wisdom without distraction will arise from within. 'The nature of the mind is inconceivable, abiding in the unconditioned nature.' Third, as mentioned above, practicing the vows of the generation stage and completion stage day and night is the first conduct like a prince. From this, excellent experiences of bliss and emptiness arise. Secretly practicing the yoga method, observe whether the experience is stable or not in charnel grounds or villages. If it is not stable, then retreat; conversely, if one gains clairvoyance and abilities, then practice secret conduct, which is the second conduct. After that, enter the conduct of a renunciate of awareness, even going to the homes of outcasts and those of bad lineage, praising with songs and dances, subduing the disbelievers with miracles, and becoming accustomed to abiding in the co-emergent state, which is the third conduct. After that, realizing the equality of all dharmas, enter the samādhi that exhausts all locations and parts. Like the sky, free from dryness and moisture, the mind is free from virtue and vice. This is the conduct of great equanimity, which is the fourth conduct. Fourth, from the countless gateways of entry into the transitional vehicles, the methods of the paths and fruits of each are as described above. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
