Therefore, there is no other practice of meditation other than abiding in this state. From this manner, the co-emergent wisdom that is inseparable from space will arise. How is it similar to space? Just as there are no supports or foundations that are not space in space, the co-emergent wisdom has no container-like support, no water-like dependence, and no earth-like foundation, and there are no analogies. As it is said in the Root Tantra of Chakrasamvara: 'The mind can be grasped like space, and the mind should be grasped as the nature of space.' Likewise, for this sequence of cutting off elaboration, the venerable Shawaripa also said: 'Think of nothing, and by thinking of nothing, enlightenment will be attained.' Some people think that the continuous cessation of thoughts leads to a meditation of ignorance and express their dissatisfaction with this. But things do not turn out as they think. As Mda' bsnun zhabs said: 'When mindfulness diminishes, wisdom declines, and the foolish follow after delusion. For the wise, there arises an experience that is superior to space.' By abiding in this way, from the merging of the life force into the earth and water elements in the dhūti (central channel), to the sequence of the wind merging into emptiness, ten signs such as smoke will appear. For these signs, do not judge the illusory appearances with illusory thoughts, but like pra phab pa (instant appearance), abide in their nature. As it is said in the Primordial Buddha: 'Not an appearance of thought, by the signs of smoke and so on, the image of wisdom is equal to space.' Just as a mirror stained with red pigment (Sindhūra), by constantly wiping it, removing the dirt, and becoming very clear, various images appear without obstruction. The mirror of the mind, stained with the dirt of thoughts, by constantly purifying it with correct thoughts, transforms into the nature of non-discrimination, and in the co-emergent wisdom, the emptiness of all phenomena will appear in a way that is inseparable from its own nature. Therefore, the yoga of thoughts is a skillful means to non-discrimination, and one should strive to focus on non-discrimination. The venerable Āryadeva once said: 'From wiping away the dust of pure thoughts, completely pure and extremely bright, infinite forms and images, all appear in the mirror of the mind.' Secondly, walking, sitting, and lying down...

Whatever actions are performed, such as walking, all that appears is seen as equal in the state of non-duality wisdom. As stated in the Hevajra Tantra: 'Whatever is stable or moving, such as grass, shrubs, and vines, from the nature of my own being, one should definitely meditate on the sacred Suchness.' Having become accustomed to this manner, how is it? All phenomena, such as the stable and the moving, abide in the nature of emptiness and bliss inseparable, like reflections, each manifesting as self-aware essence. Maitrīpa also said: 'If one fully knows the nature of going, it is the nature of non-discrimination. Therefore, knowing the nature of various discriminations, one should not labor.' Third, by placing and fixing the mind on the eyes, the mind remains stable, and one sees as many forms as there are in the three worlds. Similarly, by placing and fixing the mind on the ears, nose, tongue, and skin, the mind remains stable, and one hears the sounds that exist in the three worlds, understands languages, and enjoys as many smells, tastes, and tangible objects as there are. Similarly, by fixing the mind on the heart, crown of the head, throat, and navel, one obtains the six supernormal knowledges (abhijñā), the Dharmakāya (chos kyi sku, 法身, body of dharma, the body of truth), sees the assembly of deities, obtains the body of great bliss (mahāsukha-kāya), knows all the scriptures, enjoys the Sambhogakāya (longs spyod rdzogs pa'i sku, 报身, body of enjoyment), engages with the daughters born from the supreme of the gods, and obtains the four Nirmāṇakāyas (sprul pa'i sku, 化身, body of emanation) in sequence. As the scripture says: 'Look closely at the pig face upwards, the swastika whirls quickly. By the yoga of the two seals, one also accomplishes the three realms.' This method is also explained as follows: 'Objects joined together by various interests, by realizing their own nature completely, the clear and unclouded mandala wheel, this yoga is the order of destroying afflictions.' Fourth, the Sahaja (lhan cig skyes pa, 俱生, co-emergent) sequence: In the progressive order, experiencing the Sahaja pleasure in the lotus; in the reverse order, experiencing the Sahaja pleasure in the crown. In both ways, the Sahaja bliss should pervade everything. First, when the messenger woman's fire of desire melts, and the Bodhicitta (byang chub kyi sems, 菩提心, mind of enlightenment) arises from the base of the lotus, there is joy. When it reaches the center of the lotus, there is supreme joy. These two belong to the aspect of desire, while joylessness belongs to the aspect of being free from desire. That is to say, the guru... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
