Below, there is a ten-petaled lotus, within which is a sun cushion. At the center of the lotus is the Hūṃ syllable (藏文：ཧཱུྃ，梵文天城体：हुं，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ，汉语字面意思：吽). From this, I manifest as the dark blue Gnod mdzės rgyal po (Lord of Harm), with four faces and six arms. The right face is white, the left face is red, and the back face is green. The first two hands hold a vajra and bell (rdo rje dril). The remaining right hands hold a curved knife (gri gug) and a trident (rtse gsum), and the left hands hold a skull cup (thod pa) and a khaṭvāṃga. He is adorned with the splendor and all the ornaments of a wrathful deity, radiating light like the fire at the end of an eon. He dwells with his right leg extended. From his heart, ten Hūṃ syllables (藏文：ཧཱུྃ，梵文天城体：हुं，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ，汉语字面意思：吽) emanate, manifesting as the ten wrathful deities: in the east, Rnam rgyal (Victorious One); in the south, Gshin rje gshed (Yamāntaka); in the west, Rta mgrin (Hayagrīva); in the north, Bdud rtsi 'khyil ba (Nectar Vortex); in the southeast, Dbyug sngon can (Blue Staff Holder); in the southwest, Stobs po che (Great Power); in the northwest, Mi g.yo ba (Acala); in the northeast, Gzhan gyis mi thub pa (Invincible One); above, Gtsug tor 'khor los sgyur ba (Crown-Turning Wheel); below, Hūṃ kāra (ཧཱུྃ་ཀ་ར།). All the wrathful deities are black, holding a vajra hammer (rdo rje) and an iron hook (lcags kyu) in their hands. Their faces are wrathful and agitated, with fangs biting down on their lower lips, and three eyes blazing fiercely. Their bodies are heroic and seductive, yet repulsive. They wear snake ornaments and tiger skin skirts. They dwell with their right legs extended, in the midst of a great fire. At this point, Gnod mdzės recites: 'Oṃ Sumba ni Sumba Hūṃ Hūṃ Phaṭ! Oṃ Grihna Grihna Hūṃ Hūṃ Phaṭ! Oṃ Grihna Paya Grihna Paya Hūṃ Hūṃ Phaṭ! Oṃ Ānaya Hoḥ Bhagavan Vidyā Rāza Hūṃ Hūṃ Phaṭ!' Through this command, the ten wrathful deities seize and suppress the demons and obstacles from the ten directions, forcing them to lie face up. The upper bodies of each wrathful deity display a wrathful countenance, while their lower bodies transform into vajra kīlas (phur bu), as if just emerging from a burning abyss. 'Oṃ Gha Gha Ghātaya Ghātaya Sarva Duṣṭu Na Bighnā Na Hūṃ Phaṭ! Kīli Kī Lāya Sarva Pāpaṃ Hūṃ Phaṭ! Vajra Dhāra Āzñā Pāyati Kāyavākacitta Vajra Kīlaya Hūṃ Phaṭ!' These vajra kīlas (phur bu) are driven into the bodies of the obstacles. The vajra (rdo rje) in the hands of Gnod mdzės transforms into a hammer, and he recites: 'Oṃ Vajra Mungara Vajra Kīlāya Ākoṭaya Hūṃ Phaṭ!' Striking them fiercely on the head, the vajra kīlas (phur bu) penetrate from the crown of the demons' heads all the way down to the golden ground, and the burning flames incinerate them into ashes, leaving not even ashes to be found. Then, boundaries are set on one's own left and right hands, mouth, secret place, shoulders, and knees. The crown of the head and the soles of the feet are guarded by the wrathful deities above and below. Finally, everything vanishes into emptiness. 'Oṃ Medīni Bazvi Bhava Vajra Bandha Hūṃ Hūṃ Phaṭ!
