The chief of gods constantly plays on the crown of the head, greatly hating the obstacles of the three realms. The secret lord of all Buddhas, holding the powerful Vajra in hand. Venerable Lama, I bow to you, may you fill my heart with power. The secret of Shambhala. The accomplished ones of the sacred land transmitted it orally. The listener was Jetsun Rechungpa. What is spoken is the Wrathful Vajra with Garuda Plume. 16-597 The one known as Padmasambhava (Padma-bhava, Sanskrit transliteration, lotus-born). Such is the possessor of treasures. Taking various forms to accomplish benefit, Noble Blue-Clad Mind Bodhisattva, The precious refuge, the Sangha, I always take refuge. Bhagavan Vajrapani, offering my body to you and your retinue, Please accept it and grant me the two kinds of siddhi (accomplishment) that are in accordance with you. The Bodhicitta (mind of enlightenment) endowed with wisdom and compassion, as the Buddhas of the three times have generated it, I will generate it accordingly, and never abandon the Bodhicitta. First, having generated the Bodhicitta, all the merit arising from the two accumulations, For the sake of all sentient beings in samsara, I dedicate it to great enlightenment. Absorb the field of accumulation into oneself. Cherishing the thought, 'How wonderful if all sentient beings were to have happiness,' cultivate loving-kindness. Cherishing the thought, 'How wonderful if all sentient beings were free from suffering,' cultivate compassion.
