In the south, King Phag Kye Po ( 'Phags skyes po, Noble Born): The army of Yama (gShin rje, Lord of Death) and its retinue, to cut off all hostile obstacles, the time for the great oath has come! In the west, King Misan Bu (Spyan mi bzang, Evil Eye): The army of the Nagas (klu, serpent beings) and its retinue, to cut off all hostile obstacles, the time for the great oath has come! In the north, King Namtose (Rnam thos sras, Vaishravana): The army of Yakshas (gnod sbyin, a class of semi-divine beings) and its retinue, to cut off all hostile obstacles, the time for the great oath has come! The protectors of the ten directions, with the armies of their respective factions and retinues, the time for the great oath has come! Fierce and malevolent gods and demons, causing harm and taking lives, all the evil spirits dwelling in the upper and lower regions of the directions, may they all become hateful enemies! The four demonesses: From the east, where blue-black flames blaze, the demoness, the nine-headed Yama, one head chases after the wealth of the household, one head chases after the offerings to the gods, one head chases after the husband above, one head chases after the child under the arm, one head chases after all the wives, one head chases after the corner of the sheep pen, one head chases after the crops in the field, one head chases after the guardian spirit of the household. The powerful mother of the wrathful Yama, wearing a garment of alternating black and white, holding a razor made of conch shell in her hand, she is the butcher of enemies, the mother of demons, may all who hate become enemies! Hūṃ! From the south, where blue-black flames blaze, the demoness, the long-armed Yama, the Rakshasa (rākṣasa, a type of demon) wrathfully offering hearts. Five hundred hands stir the sky, five hundred right hands seize the enemy, five hundred left hands kill the enemy. Drag them out from the enemy's throat! Hūṃ! From the west, where blue-black flames blaze, the demoness, the grave-digging Yama, wearing a garment of human skin, binding a garland of illusions on her head, Yamas emanate from her head, the right hand holds iron hailstones, severing the heads and bodies of those who destroy the Dharma! Hūṃ! From the north, where blue-black flames blaze, the demoness, the hundred-handed Yama, fifty right hands hold curved knives, severing the heads and bodies of enemies who break their vows! Fifty left hands hold lassos, throwing them around the necks of enemies who break their vows! You are the sister of the Nagas, grind the enemies who break their vows into dust! Having thus inspired, open the doors: Hūṃ! The door goddess of the east, with a white face, the compassionate one with the mudra (phyag rgya, hand gesture) of an iron hook, opens the white conch shell door of the east! Let those who travel clear the path! I will not punish without cause! The zor lam (zor lam, the path of the zor) of the Torma (gtor ma, sacrificial cake) opens above the enemy!
