From the syllable 'Om' (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Romanization: om, Literal meaning: Om) arises the moon; from the white syllable 'Ah' (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Literal meaning: Ah) arises a white lion; upon the lion, from the syllable 'Pam' (Tibetan: པཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: प, Sanskrit Romanization: pam, Literal meaning: Pam) arises a white lotus stamen; from the complete transformation of the white syllable 'Hrih' (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrih, Literal meaning: Hrih), appears Jetsun Singe Sgra (Lord Lion's Roar), radiant as the moon and crystal, with the left hand pressing the earth and the right hand teaching the Dharma. Holding the appearance of an ascetic, wearing a tiger skin skirt, seated in the posture of royal ease. On the right is a white trident entwined with a white snake; on the left is a lotus upon which stands a flaming sword. In front is a white skull cup filled with flowers. Above the clouds of light, the Five Buddhas radiate. To the right is Green Tara saving from the eight fears, seated in a semi-lotus posture. Behind is Chakravartin Avalokiteshvara (Wheel-turning Avalokiteshvara), white, with seven eyes, seated in full lotus posture, both hands giving the supreme gift with the right hand, and holding the stem of a blue and white Utpala flower with the left hand. To the left is Hayagriva (Horse-necked One), with a wrathful face, and a green horse head neighing loudly above, seated with the left leg extended, the right hand holding a staff, and the left hand forming a threatening mudra at the heart. In front is the water deity Varuna, white, with the upper body of a god and nine snake heads, and the lower body of a snake tail, with hands folded in prayer. At the heart of the main deity is the moon arising from the syllable 'Om' (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Romanization: om, Literal meaning: Om), and above it is the white syllable 'Hrih' (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrih, Literal meaning: Hrih). Its light illuminates the three realms and reaches Akanishta (highest pure land). Please, Bhagavan Singe Sgra (Lord Lion's Roar) with your retinue of four assemblies, the five classes of power deities, and all the holy ones, descend into the space before me. 'Vajra Samaja' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal meaning). With compassion, may you have impartial compassion for all sentient beings: O Noble Lokeshvara (Lord of the World), I purify my mind with the offering of clean water. Seeing effort as the only meaningful thing, I gaze upon you with hope. Please fulfill your vow to destroy sins and grant me fruition today. 'Jah Hum Bam Hoh' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal meaning), become one with the Samaya being. The Five Families bestow empowerment with jeweled vases, filling the body and cleansing impurities. The remaining water gathers upwards, transforming into Amitabha Buddha as the crown ornament on the head. Most of the offerings are supreme offerings. The light of the offerings shines brightly, the offerings are arranged in great variety. I offer myself and my retinue to the great one. 'Om Lokéshvara Argham Pratítsa Swaha' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal meaning). Similarly, arrange in order: flowers, 'Pushpé' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal meaning); incense, 'Dhūpé' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal meaning); lamps, 'Āloké' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal meaning); perfume, 'Gendhé' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal meaning); food, 'Naividyé' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal meaning); music, 'Shapta' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal meaning). One face, two arms, body white in color, three eyes abiding on a lion throne, the Lama who destroys all diseases, I prostrate to Singe Sgra (Lion's Roar). Meditate in this way. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you feel tired, recite (the heart mantra), after the seed syllable of the mantra: Om Ah Hrih Siddha Nada Hum Phat Svaha. The visualization during recitation is: On a vajra seat in the heart, dwells Akshobhya Buddha, in whose heart there are seed syllables and mantra chains, emitting light that illuminates oneself. Then, from the end of the light, countless Five Dhyani Buddhas radiate outwards, filling the entire universe. In this way, all the demons above, below, and in between are subdued, bringing happiness to all sentient beings. Gather all the blessings of the body, speech, and mind of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, merging into one's own body, speech, and mind, thereby becoming powerful. Benefits: Reciting this essence of the mantra once will liberate one from all sins. One will not fall into lower realms, the body will not be harmed by weapons, one will not be harmed by enemies and thieves, one will not be harmed by nagas, etc., and one will always have glory. One will not be reborn as a woman, and will always remember past lives, and after death, one will be reborn in Sukhavati. Thus it is said. The second part is practice: Namo Ratna Trayaya! Namo Arya Lokiteśvaraya! Bodhisattvaya! Mahasattvaya! Mahakarunikaya! Tadyatha: Om Akate Vikate Nikate Katam Kate Karote Karote Viriye Svaha! This is the dharani. The ritual is: With 'Om Rekhe Hum', in the direction where the painted image is displayed, visualize the top of Mount Potala, where there is a jewel palace, decorated with jewels, pearls, and countless treasures, with light pervading the three thousand worlds, filled with various fragrant flowers. In the palace, from the syllable 'Pam' arises a four-petaled lotus, on the stamen is a moon from the syllable 'Om', from the white syllable 'Ah' arises a white lion, on the lion, from the syllable 'Pam' arises a white lotus, on the stamen is the white syllable 'Hrih'. From these completely transformed, appears the noble Simhanada Avalokiteśvara, with a moon-like transparent luster, left hand pressing the earth, right hand teaching the Dharma, wearing the attire of an ascetic, with a tiger skin skirt. Seated in the posture of a king, on the right is a white trident entwined with a white snake, on the left is an upright lotus, on which is a burning sword, in front is a white skull bowl filled with flowers. In the clouds of light, the Five Dhyani Buddhas radiate light, on the right is Tara who saves from the eight fears, residing in a green-blue half-lotus posture. Behind is Cintamanicakra Avalokiteśvara, white, with seven eyes, residing in a lotus posture, with both hands giving the supreme giving mudra, the left hand holding a blue utpala. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
