In the path of liberation, longing arises from faith, and attainment comes from seeing. Through meditative absorption, the body manifests perfection, either transforming in one lifetime, or in the present moment, or after death in the Realm of Form. Liberation from afflictions comes through the power of wisdom, not merely from the obscuration of liberation, but from both wisdom and meditative absorption, from the aspects of both. From the stage of ascertainment up to the fifteenth moment, in the worldly path of what is to be abandoned through cultivation and what has not been abandoned, amidst the five kinds of decline, one attains the first fruit. One who has previously abandoned eight afflictions attains the second fruit. One who has abandoned nine afflictions or has abandoned nothing is free from the extremes of existence and non-existence. One who has entered the third fruit establishes its result in the sixteenth moment. One strives to make the result excellent. One who has entered the first fruit abides in the fruit, abandoning the five lower fetters. One who has entered the second fruit does not return to the desire realm in order to exhaust the six afflictions. One who has abandoned seven or eight afflictions enters the third fruit. One who has exhausted nine afflictions does not return to the desire realm. In the path of abandoning the eighth and ninth afflictions at the peak of existence, one attains the state of an Arhat and attains the exhaustion of afflictions. One who knows the exhaustion of afflictions is an Arhat, abiding in the fruit, even if only one affliction to be abandoned through cultivation has not been abandoned, one attains seven fruits as desired. One who has abandoned three or four afflictions transmigrates from one lineage to another. One who has exhausted seven or eight afflictions experiences one intermediate state. One who has abandoned one binding is liberated in the intermediate state. One who has not abandoned two bindings will be reborn in the Realm of Form. Those born without perception and those with the four formless absorptions are similar in other respects except for the intermediate state. In the two, above and below, that is, in the fourth dhyana, through cultivating small, medium, large, and very large, and extremely increasing meditation, one goes to Akanistha. In decline, increase, half-increase, and all, one who does not increase cultivation at the time of death transmigrates to the peak of existence. The six Arhats all desire this; five of them arise from faith and longing, and there may be decline while abiding in bliss. One is obtained through seeing, combined with the time of abiding in bliss in this very life. All liberation is immovable. The actions in the three realms are ordinary beings, and the noble ones with or without remaining fetters, obtaining the desire and form bodies of both, are the Bodhisattvas and Pratyekabuddhas who have obtained power, and are also the supreme emanation bodies. Practicing Dharma is accumulating merit and aspiration, not afflictions, but the ten obscurations. Residing in the ten bhumis of unfavorable and counteracting qualities. Six of these are practiced in the realm of signs, one is the three pure ones in the realm of no signs, and is practiced without conceptualization. Relying on what cannot be overcome by seeing. All the afflictions of the three realms in the past path are abandoned at once. Or established in the two fruits, or one who has not become an Arhat at the time of death. By the power of aspiration, one will be propelled as a Pratyekabuddha. The ten Abhisamayas are explained, only the meaning of Dharma is the subsequent Abhisamaya. Accumulating merit is the path of seeing and cultivating, it will not appear in all the Three Jewels, and will ultimately become a Sravaka and Pratyekabuddha. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
