This is the famous Rendawa. Then, due to the circumstances of time, it moved to the grandson Taktsal. Then, during the later dissemination of the teachings, there appeared a scholar named Gya Tsondu Sengge, who was the one who invited the master Jowoje to Tibet. The grandson of that person moved to Khuler, and this Dharma Lord was born in that lineage. Moreover, in the terma of Guru Chowang, in the questions and answers of the master Padmasambhava and Kha Ri, in the three prophecies called 'Saral,' it is said: 'There will be an emanation holding a jewel, who will teach the Dharma from a mouth resembling Pabong Sho.' This indicates that he is an emanation of Avalokiteśvara. In the terma texts of Ratna Glingpa and Padma Lingpa, the master said: 'Naropa, the great master, transformed into a magical dancer, will go to Tsangpa Gyare, Druk, and Ralung in Tibet.' Dharma Lord Rendawa, later, with the intention of benefiting the teachings, at the time of receiving the vows of a fully ordained monk, the lama Zhang Yu Trakpa said: 'Who else but me can cut the hair of Naropa, the great master?' Having said this, he rode off on a white horse. The great accomplished Lingje, in praising the place of Thel, said: 'In the center of the forehead, there is a light. That light is Lingchen Repa. From the center of the light, it flashes forth. That flash is Naropa.' This indicates that Naropa is related to Ralung. Dharma Lord himself also acknowledged this. Such a lineage will continue for eighty-four generations. During times when the teachings are weak, like the previous Gyalwang Rinpoche, there will be nine emanations of Dharma Lord himself. As it is said in the Dharma Lord's testament: 'Here, among the eighty-four descendants, there will be nine holders of the lineage of the lamas, who will expand the teachings.' Therefore, all eighty-four of these are said to be actual emanations of Avalokiteśvara, with eighty being directly indicated and four being indirectly implied. In this way, the disciples who follow such a great being as a teacher do not fear the profound teachings, and they are fortunate ones. Although they appear different, they are of the same essence, like the Vajra Master, possessing the same faith and lineage, thus it is a perfect retinue. Among them, those who have received the permission of the Vajra Master and hold the treasury of teachings will be either open or hidden accomplished ones, or unparalleled illuminators of the teachings.' This is the saying that is passed down. Fourth, those holy beings who teach and listen in this way, first, hear well from the supreme lama. At the very moment of hearing, contemplate with the mind. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Experience through meditation. Immediately confess all discomforts. Through study and meditation, achieve excellence, occupy a lower position. Rely on these three things: food, clothing, and speech. Live like a child of the mountains, wearing clothes made of mist. Through the conduct of Vajrayana, practice in a way that knows the nature of afflictions. Self-liberate the signs of abandoning and adopting, like sandalwood or the sky and the palm of the hand, comprehending equality. Therefore, become a great accomplished one. Everyone will say: 'Half not like a dragon, half like a beggar, half like an accomplished one.' Other practitioners do not meditate when the Lama is teaching. Later, after listening to many teachings, they become arrogant and conceited. They are ashamed to wear old clothes. If they need to occupy a lower position, they despise it; they pursue a higher position. They think that going to secluded places and being able to endure hunger is unnecessary because Tantra uses pleasure as a path, only talking about Dharma but being full of afflictions. Therefore, they praise those on their side who are like donkeys, as if they know everything. No matter what good qualities they see in scholars and accomplished ones of other sects, they only talk about their faults. Therefore, Jetsun Milarepa had to drive them out of the crowd. We are also followers of this way, so it is difficult to fit in with the crowd. The trick is that it is enough to be able to develop one's own qualities to perfection. Just as Jowo Je (Tibetan: ཇོ་བོ་རྗེ, Sanskrit Devanagari: Atiśa, Sanskrit Romanization: Atiśa, Chinese literal meaning: Supreme One) said: 'Life is short, knowledge is endless. The length of life is also unknowable. Like extracting milk from water with faith, fulfill your own desires.' Jetsun Milarepa said: 'In the degenerate age of Shakyamuni Buddha's teachings, people's lives are short, their enjoyments are poor, and there are many demonic obstacles. There is no time to stay long, so there is no time to exhaust knowledge. Do not pursue extensive Tantric knowledge, focus on practice.' I will not be lazy either, I will listen to the Guru's teachings. Even if I go to remote mountains.' Therefore, a meditator without learning is like a person with a severed arm climbing a rock. Although it is said like this, there is no need to feel despised. Sometimes, the Buddha secretly said: 'Listening too much is also the work of demons.' Therefore, the Suchness (Tibetan: དེ་ཁོ་ན་ཉིད, Sanskrit Devanagari: tathatā, Sanskrit Romanization: tathatā, Chinese literal meaning: Thusness) is the source of all benefits and happiness, therefore it is excellent. Fourth, the Suchness (Tibetan: དེ་ཁོ་ན་ཉིད, Sanskrit Devanagari: tathatā, Sanskrit Romanization: tathatā, Chinese literal meaning: Thusness) is the source of all benefits and happiness, therefore it is excellent, this realm that is excellent with wonderful splendor. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
