Temples such as 'Subduing the Border' and 'Further Subduing' were built, suppressing the land as if in a collapsing manner. As predicted by the Chinese woman's divination, the glorious Chokhor Lhakhang Trulnang Temple was constructed in the heart of the lake, which was filled with cloth, thus establishing the key to the establishment of the doctrine in this land. Monasteries for writing and other practices were established, and the tradition of slightly practicing the sacred Dharma was initiated. During the reign of Trisong Detsen (藏文:ཁྲི་སྲོང་ལྡེ་བཙན་), the grandson of that king, the great Bhikshu Śāntarakṣita (寂护,梵文:Śāntarakṣita), born in the kingdom of Zahor (ཟ་ཧོར་,梵文:Zāhor) in Khasarana (ཁ་ས་ར་ཎཱར,梵文:Khasaraṇa), was the lord of scholars. Padmasambhava (པདྨ་འབྱུང་གནས།), born from a lotus stalk in the island of Dhanakośa (དྷ་ན་ཀོ་ཤའི་,梵文:Dhanakośa), the greatest of the vidyādharas (持明者) in Jambudvīpa (ཛམྦུའི་གླིང་,赡部洲), appeared in two forms. They subdued the fierce demons and built the great Samye Lhunkyi Drupai Tsuklakhang Monastery (བསམ་ཡས་ལྷུན་གྱིས་གྲུབ་པའི་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་ཆེན་པོ་), which was naturally accomplished. They expanded the doctrine through ordination and full ordination. In the sacred land of Kashmir (ཀསྨཱིར,梵文:Kaśmīra), in Gribhādan (གྲིབ་བརྟེན,梵文:Gribhādan), due to the shared foundation of the king and the Brahmin caste, Nāropa (ནཱ་རོ་ཏ་པ་,梵文:Nāropa) was born into the lineage. He mastered the six Brahmin activities of his caste. Without assuming the throne, he took ordination with unwavering respect for the Buddha's teachings. He became an unparalleled scholar in the five sciences and was appointed as the abbot of Nālandā (ན་ལེནྡྲའི་,梵文:Nālandā) in central India. After defeating many heretics, he sought a virtuous spiritual friend to guide him on the true path. In Metoladaden (མེ་ཏོག་ལ་དེ་ལྡན་) in Kashmir, he practiced the seven-letter sadhana (སྒྲུབ་བ་) of Chakrasaṃvara (བདེ་མཆོག་,梵文:Cakrasaṃvara). At dawn on the seventh day, there was an earthquake and unimaginable sounds and lights. Upon analyzing the sound: 'Go to the east, and Tilopa (ཏིལླི་པ་,梵文:Tilopa) will take you in.' Having received this prophecy, he departed despite the dissuasion of his disciples. After enduring twelve minor hardships, he found his guru in Otantapuri (ཨོ་ཏནྟྲ་པུ་རི་,梵文:Otantapuri), the mother monastery of glorious Samye, located in the land of Bengal (བྷངྒ་ལའི་,梵文:Bhaṅgala). He completely pleased his guru through twelve great hardships, exhausting his body and life. He attained the path of seeing in the Mahayana (ཐེག་ཆེན་). Returning, in the center of the great region of Gulkun (གུར་ཀུམ་) in Kashmir, on a mountain where sandalwood trees grew, he built the Puspahari (པུཥྤ་ཧ་རི་,梵文:Puṣpahari) monastery. Although he intended to focus on meditation, slightly east of Vajrāsana (རྡོ་རྗེའི་གདན་,梵文: Vajrāsana) in central India, Vikramaśīla (བི་ཀྲ་མ་ལ་ཤཱི་ལ་,梵文:Vikramaśīla) Monastery, built by King Dharmapāla (དྷརྨ་བཱ་ལ,梵文:Dharmapāla), had seven hundred temples and five hundred great scholars who were masters of all fields of knowledge, along with countless disciples. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The third was the venerable one, surrounded by countless millions of attendants. His northern gatekeeper was Je Taris (Tibetan: ཛེ་ཏཱ་རི་, meaning 'Victor over Enemies'), who practiced asceticism and was extremely knowledgeable in non-Buddhist doctrines, came to debate. Since he was difficult to defeat, everyone requested him (the venerable one). He was empowered as the lion of speech who destroys all challenges from opponents. He defeated all non-Buddhists through the Dharma and was therefore known as the great northern gatekeeper. Later, through asceticism, he demonstrated the attainment of supreme accomplishment in this very life. Then, in the 'White Lotus of Compassion', he was prophesied as 'Bhikshu Atsö', who would perform great deeds for the precious Buddha Dharma, like a second teacher of the essential teachings. He manifested as a drop of Chinese lineage, incarnating as Young Moonlight, especially near Mount Gangtise (Tibetan: གངས་རི་དཔལ་དང་ལྡན་པ་), below the shrine of Hao Gangwa Sangpo (Tibetan: ཧའོ་གང་བ་བཟང་པོའི་ལྷ་ཞོལ།), at the sky's center in Drok Khula (Tibetan: འབྲོག་ཁུ་ལ་), in a place called Gyarong (Tibetan: རྒྱ་གྲོང་). He studied many treatises and met the great Saraha of Mount Gangtise. In Lhodrak Kharchu (Tibetan: ལྷོ་བྲག་མཁར་ཆུར་), he subdued the armies of gods and demons and realized the truth of Dharma nature. In what is known as the Himalayas or Tsari Tra (Tibetan: ཙཱ་རི་ཏྲ་), he practiced asceticism together with a farming woman. The Bhagavan Chakrasamvara prophesied that he would attain enlightenment in this Fortunate Aeon. Vajrayogini also prophesied, 'The teachings will spread across eighteen vulture-days' journey.' Underneath a bodhi tree khatvanga (Tibetan: ཁ་ཊྭཱཾ་ག་). Seven complete Buddhas praised him. Later, when he received full ordination from Zhang Dewai Dorje (Tibetan: ཞང་བདེ་བའི་རྡོ་རྗེ་), he was praised as the great Naropa. With the great accomplishment of this very life, he led the assembled disciples of the Buddha's teachings, who were focused on the essential meaning, into the Vajra City of Dakinis three times. He entrusted the teachings to his nephew and six chief disciples, as well as two thousand eight hundred individuals, and manifested his bodily remains as a collection of divine images and relics. Furthermore, in the Land of Great Bliss, he is known as the Bodhisattva Stainless Light. Moreover, in the glorious Drukpa lineage, Kunga Paljor (Tibetan: ཀུན་དགའ་དཔལ་འབྱོར།), a great spiritual friend who nurtured the teachings, or Victorious One, possessed great learning power from a young age and attained supreme realization through the grace of the delusory sky yoga. And the channels, winds, and bindus. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
