Giving to those who harbor hatred, may hatred be pacified, and may it become a cause for generating benefit and happiness.' Having said this, strike the Ting-shak. This impermanent king of offerings, with the blessing of the purity of Dharmata (法性,Dharmatā,法性,chos nyid, chos nyid, the nature of reality), the immeasurable greatness of the qualities of the Three Jewels, the definitive Samaya (誓言,samaya,誓言,dam tshig, dam tshig, vow) of the heart essence Mudra (手印,mudrā,手印,phyag rgya, phyag rgya, seal), the power of the assembly of causes, conditions, and interdependent origination, the accomplishment of the Rishis (仙人,ṛṣi,仙人,drang srong, drang srong, sage) and Vidyadharas (持明,vidyādhara,持明,rig 'dzin, rig 'dzin, knowledge holder), the five wisdom lights of my aspiration, wisdom, and Samadhi (禅定,samādhi,禅定,ting nge 'dzin, ting nge 'dzin, meditative concentration) shine forth, the enjoyment of the five senses is endowed with all necessities, may this boundless sky become a great treasure. Having offered, I pray that the palace of your Lama (上师,guru,上师,bla ma,bla ma,teacher) be filled and permeated with clouds of offerings. By the power of my merit, may all sentient beings be happy and free from all harm. Or, as the Tathagata (如来,Tathāgata,如来,de bzhin gshegs pa,de bzhin gshegs pa,one who has thus gone) said, may all wishes be fulfilled, and may they be accomplished without hindrance. May the harm of animals preying on each other no longer occur. May the Pretas (饿鬼,preta,饿鬼,yi dwags,yi dwags, hungry ghost) receive unobstructed food and drink. May the suffering of hell beings, the endless variety of sufferings, be quickly pacified by the blessing of this merit. May the Devas (天,deva,天,lha, lha, god), Nagas (龙,nāga,龙,klu, klu, serpent), Yakshas (夜叉,yakṣa,夜叉,gnod sbyin, gnod sbyin, demon), Rakshasas (罗刹,rākṣasa,罗刹,srin po,srin po,ogre), and the many Bhutas (鬼,bhūta,鬼,'byung po,'byung po,spirit) who dwell on the earth or in the sky, have their virtuous intentions fulfilled.' Then comes the Dharma (法,dharma,法,chos, chos, law) giving: 'All Dharmas (法,dharma,法,chos, chos, law) arise from causes, the Tathagata (如来,Tathāgata,如来,de bzhin gshegs pa,de bzhin gshegs pa,one who has thus gone) has spoken of the cause, and the cessation of that cause, the great Shramana (沙门,śramaṇa,沙门,dge sbyong, dge sbyong, ascetic) has said thus.' Do no evil, practice all good, tame your own mind, this is the teaching of the Buddhas. The discipline of the body is good, the discipline of speech is good, the discipline of the mind is good, discipline is good in all places, the Bhikshu (比丘,bhikṣu,比丘,dge slong, dge slong, monk) who guards all is liberated from all suffering. Dharmas (法,dharma,法,chos, chos, law) are like reflections, clear, pure, and without defilement, ungraspable and unspeakable, arising from cause and Karma (业,karma,业,las, las, action). The essence is non-dual and without location, thus knowing the Dharmas (法,dharma,法,chos, chos, law), do the incomparable for sentient beings, yet be born as a son of protection.' Thus, by giving material things, the stream of the senses is satisfied, and by giving the Dharma (法,dharma,法,chos, chos, law), the stream of wisdom is liberated, thereby completely purifying the afflictive obscurations and the cognitive obscurations along with their habitual tendencies, and perfecting merit and wisdom. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
