Offerings, foot-washing water, flowers, incense, lamps, perfumes, food, music, etc., arising from the syllable Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: seed syllable), pure and unobstructed, like a cloud of offerings arising from the liberation of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, inconceivable. 11-12 The sacrificial substances also become pure and pleasing, endowed with the power to accomplish peaceful activities. Oṃ Arghaṃ. Pādyaṃ. Puṣpaṃ. Dhūpaṃ. Āloke. Gandhaṃ. Naivedyaṃ. Śabda. Āḥ Hūṃ. Oṃ Śrī Svāhā. Oṃ Jiṃ Svāhā. Oṃ Oṃ Svāhā. Oṃ Kuru Kuru Svāhā. Recite and bless. Secondly, offering to the worldly fire god: Again, sprinkle fragrant water on the fire altar, purify with 'Sumbhani,' cleanse with 'Svābhāva.' From emptiness, from the syllable Paṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning: lotus) arises a lotus, and from the syllable Raṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning: fire) arises a sun disc, upon which from the syllable Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: seed syllable) arises a peaceful white circular fire pit, one cubit wide and half a cubit deep. The mouth and edges of the altar are marked with vajras, and the four corners of the square platform outside are adorned with crescent vajras, pure and unobstructed. In the center of the stacked firewood, from the syllable Raṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning: fire) arises a rosary, filled with the syllable Raṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning: fire), completely transformed, from which arises the fire god riding a goat, with a red body, one face, and four arms. The first right hand grants supreme blessings, the second holds a rosary; the first left hand holds a trident, the second holds a vase. He has a topknot of matted hair, wears a Brahmin thread, a black antelope skin upper garment, and a red silk lower garment. On his forehead is Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: body), on his throat is Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Chinese literal meaning: speech), 11-13 and on his heart is the syllable Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: seed syllable). From the seed syllable in one's own heart, rays of light emanate, inviting the fire god and his retinue from the southeast. Vajra Samājaḥ. Waving the trident mudra near the ears, Oṃ Come hither, come hither, great being! King of the fire gods, great sage! For the sake of enjoying the burnt offerings and food, I invite you to come here! Glorious and great god of fire, Accomplisher of all desires! Acting for the benefit of sentient beings with compassion! I invite you to come here! Oṃ Ehyi Ehi Mahā Bhūta Devā Rīṣi Dīja Sattama Gṛhīto Mahā Asmani Sanni Hito Bhava Agnaye Ehy Ehehi Jaḥ Hūṃ Vaṃ Hoḥ. Dissolve into non-duality. Again, from the seed syllable in the heart, rays of light emanate, inviting the five families of deities of power and their retinues. Oṃ Vajra Samājaḥ. Oṃ Pañca Kula Saparivāra Arghaṃ to Śabda offer. I beseech you, Tathāgatas, to grant me the empowerment for this mandala. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ་པས། ཨོཾ་སརྦ་
