Visualize your own mind as a blue Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,Literal meaning: Seed syllable). Bend the two ring fingers into a wrathful mudra, visualizing a red Hrīḥ (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,Literal meaning: Seed syllable) on them, with the nature of fire, head facing outwards. From the tip to the base of the fingers, visualize them arranged vertically. If you meditate on these steps for twelve nights, you can extend your life by twenty years. If you meditate for a month, you will definitely extend your life by twelve years. Ultimately, relying on this path, you will definitely attain the deathless Vajra body, becoming the thirteen Vajradharas. The essence of the Tantra, the secret words of the Dakinis. The essence of accomplishment, the rainbow body Vajra body. The supreme secret instruction for accomplishment, this profound Dharma. Written as practiced by wise and accomplished masters. May all sentient beings, as vast as space, through this virtue, completely abandon the defilements of clinging and delusion, attain the deathless Vajra body, and become victorious in all directions, spontaneously accomplishing benefit for others. Now, I will explain the special secret instruction for extending life by relying on essence extraction. As an antidote to wind, use Rāmośaga. As an antidote to phlegm, use Coṅ-źi. As an antidote to bile, use Tag-tu-ṅu. As an antidote to poor nutrition, use Vaṅ-lag. As an antidote to all ailments, use golden A-ru-ra. Mix these medicines in equal parts. Detoxify the juice of Rāmośaga, filtering out the pure juice. Put iron into it and boil it over a high flame. After boiling, simmer over a low flame. When it becomes viscous and a small amount of congealing appears on the edge, let it cool and solidify. Roast Coṅ-źi over a fire, then grind it into a fine powder. Grind the honeycomb into a fine powder and soak it slightly with thick barley beer. Mix the Vaṅ-lag powder with milk, add a small amount of salt, stir evenly, then add the finely ground golden A-ru-ra powder, honeycomb powder, and Coṅ-źi powder, and mix thoroughly. Add brown sugar, white sugar, and honey without beeswax, and make pills the size of rabbit droppings. Place them in a Kapala (skull cup) and place it on a good shelf. Then, visualize yourself as Amitayus (Tshe-dpag-med), manifesting perfectly. Purify the nectar in front with Amrita (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,Literal meaning: Nectar), and purify with Svabhava (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,Literal meaning: Nature). From emptiness, from Yaṃ (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,Literal meaning: Seed syllable) arises the wind mandala. Above that, from Raṃ (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,Literal meaning: Seed syllable) arises the fire mandala. Above that, from A (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,Literal meaning: Seed syllable) arises a white skull cup, divided into three parts, with the forehead facing oneself. Inside it, to the east is the flesh of a cow produced from Go (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,Literal meaning: Seed syllable). To the south is the flesh of a dog produced from Ku (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,Literal meaning: Seed syllable). To the west is the flesh of a horse produced from Da (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,Literal meaning: Seed syllable). To the north is the flesh of an elephant produced from Ha (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,Literal meaning: Seed syllable). In the center is the flesh of a human produced from Na (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,Literal meaning: Seed syllable). Above each of these meats, to the east is excrement produced from Bhrūṃ (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,Literal meaning: Seed syllable). To the south is blood produced from Aṃ (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,Literal meaning: Seed syllable). To the west is... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To the north, ཁྃ་ (Tibetan, शं, sham, Peace), from which arises the essence of flesh and blood; in the center, ཧཱུྃ་ (Tibetan, हूं, hūṃ, Seed Syllable), from which arises urine. Above these are བྷྲུྃ་ (Tibetan, भ्रं, bhruṃ, Seed Syllable), the mirror-like wisdom; to the south, ཨྃ་ (Tibetan, अं, aṃ, Seed Syllable), the wisdom of equality; to the west, ཛྲིཾ་ (Tibetan, ज्रिं, jriṃ, Seed Syllable), the wisdom of discernment; to the north, ཁྃ་ (Tibetan, शं, sham, Peace), the wisdom of accomplishing activities; in the center, ཧཱུྃ་ (Tibetan, हूं, hūṃ, Seed Syllable), the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu. Above the center of these, is white ཨོཾ་ (Tibetan, 唵, oṃ, Seed Syllable), red ཨཱཿ (Tibetan, आः, āḥ, Seed Syllable), blue ཧཱུྃ་ (Tibetan, हूं, hūṃ, Seed Syllable), arranged in a tiered manner. From these three syllables, light radiates downwards, stirring the wind below and igniting the fire. The five meats and five amritas boil and dissolve into light, transforming into the white, shimmering amrita of immortal life. Again, light radiates from the three syllables, gathering the essence of the earth and dissolving into the amrita within the skull cup, while reciting the hundred-syllable mantra. Again, light radiates from the three syllables, gathering the essences of water, fire, and wind, doing as before and dissolving into the amrita, reciting each of the three syllables one hundred and eight times. Again, light radiates from the three syllables, gathering the life and merit of all sentient beings and dissolving into it, reciting each of the three syllables one hundred and eight times. Again, invoking the blessings and power of all Buddhas, and the amrita from the union of the minds of all Buddhas, heroes, and heroines, dissolving it into the amrita within the skull cup, reciting the three syllables one hundred and eight times. Finally, the three letters also dissolve into the amrita, thus becoming the wisdom amrita that bestows the accomplishment of immortality. This method should be repeated many times, engaging in strict retreat practice for up to seven days. The pills should be made where no one can see them, and between three and seven in the morning, meditate on gathering the essence of the life upon which one relies. The benefit is the arising of numerous qualities, such as longevity. This is the profound longevity instruction transmitted from Ma gcig grub pa'i rgyal mo, called 'The Stream of Immortal Amrita'. This was written by Ngag dbang kun dga' bsod nams, a Sakya mantra holder, who takes the dust from the feet of many teachers who practice the Dharma, including the embodiment of all victors, Jetsun Mus pa chen po Buddha by name, remembering the words of Mus chen himself, 'You must obtain this profound longevity instruction,' and later, sPyan snga r, the one with the lineage of Jampeyang (Mañjuśrī), the accomplished Sonam Wangpo (bsod nams dbang po), and the secret Buddha, the mantra-holding lama Drakpa Lodro Gyaltsen Pelzangpo (Grags pa blo gros rgyal mtshan dpal bzang po), whose kindness is immeasurable. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ིན་པོ་ཆེ་ཆོས་
