Self-nature is established. The name is also given to the body of the space flyer. Went to the land of Bhata Hor. Practiced according to the command of Guru Padmasambhava. Like descending upon the profound and vast Vajrasana. Was appointed as the leader of the eight classes of beings gathered in the upper, lower, and middle realms. Both the formless and the formed regard him as a deity and offer worship. Homage to you, the great supreme deity!’ The meaning of what was said above, I will express to the best of my understanding: Long ago, when Guru Padmasambhava was practicing in the Silwai Tsal charnel ground in India, using the corpse of a Rakshasa's flesh and blood, dark clouds arose from the sky, accompanied by fiercely burning flames. Three large drops of blood fell from the clouds, and the earth also shook violently. The three drops of blood that fell from the sky merged with the flesh, blood, and bones of the Rakshasa's corpse, and from this cause, Guru Rinpoche personally crafted the purplish-red mask that is now in Samye Spe-dkar, and the purplish-red mask that resides in the Sakya Pu-tra khang. These two masks were completed at the same time. When the Guru performed the consecration, both the red and black Putra actually dissolved into their respective masks, becoming one with their respective Dharma protectors and blessings. When the time came, both masks flew into the sky from the sacred land of India. The mask of the great Dharma protector of Samye Monastery landed at a meditation site in the Bhata Hor region. During the reign of King Trisong Detsen, the meditation site was destroyed, and all the belongings were taken to Samye. This mask also went to Samye with them, as clearly indicated in the words of the Dharma protector himself quoted above. The ruler of Tibetan Buddhism, the Dharma protector of the supreme Sakya school, the chief of those who carry out the orders, known as the great Gonpo Putra of activities, the purplish-red mask that is now in the Sakya Pu-tra khang, flew from India and resided for a time at a meditation site in the Bhata Hor region. Later, during the time of Lama Khuchung, it was brought to this great monastery, or so I personally believe. Extending from these, in the definitive sense, the peaceful deities are the Five Dhyani Buddhas; In the conventional sense, the wrathful deities are the Five Great Kings, and so on. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Regarding the manner in which the temple came into being, as well as the renowned large statue currently residing in Spekar Tseg, and the helmet worn by the Dharma protector upon his arrival, along with the armor known as the 'Sin Armor,' made of special rhinoceros hide, said to have hundreds of thousands of Tsen (a type of spirit) residing on each piece of hide, all of which were personally crafted by Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava), there are many wondrous stories about these, but due to the length, they will not be elaborated upon here. If you wish to know more, it can be told orally. In short, this auspicious Samye Monastery is a supreme field of merit for all beings to accumulate virtue. Initially, the greatest benefactors to the temple were the Khenpo (abbot) and Acharya (teacher), as well as the Dharma King Trisong Detsen, along with ministers and translators. Secondly, the greatest benefactors were the incarnation of Khenpo Bodhisattva, the protector of beings, the auspicious Lama Dampa Sonam Gyaltsen, along with the Sangha, patrons, and the Dharma King. Finally, the greatest benefactors were the second Buddha of the degenerate age, the auspicious Sakya masters, the mantra holder Ngawang Kunga Rinchen, Trashi Drakpa Gyaltsen, Palsangpo, father and sons, as well as the rulers and patrons of Sakya. If you wish to understand the overall wondrous biographies of these holy beings, as well as their vast contributions to the auspicious Samye Monastery, you can consult historical and other old documents, as well as the biography of the auspicious Lama Dampa Sonam Gyaltsen, written by Je Palden Tsultrim, Lochen Jangchub Tsemo, Karma Jangchupa, and others, as well as my own extensive biography of the mantra-holding Dharma King, 'Amazing Ocean,' the intermediate 'Enchanting Divine Tree,' and the concise 'Amazing Jewel Garland,' and the individual biographies of the mantra-holding father and sons. By reading these biographies, you will involuntarily generate a longing and trusting faith in the past incarnate saints, those masters of wisdom, compassion, and ability, thereby gaining vast accumulations of merit in your own mind, which is the natural law. The above is a detailed description of the establishment of Samye Monastery and the origins of the Dharma protectors, which is a wish-fulfilling jewel. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
