It is said that, like the Six Yogas of Naropa, colors like rainbows appear, and without letting awareness wander, one focuses on this, holding it while watching, which is called the Iron Hook, the most profound secret instruction. If you want to know more, you should refer to 'Clarifying the Profound Path' and 'Face-to-Face Instructions of the Vidyadharas.' Third, the main part. Lead the students to a high, clear, and pleasant place. After bathing at dawn. Perform the Tsok Khorlo (gathering wheel). Offer a special mandala. Adjust the posture, and with the introducer as the basis for meditation, visualize the lineage gurus, especially one's own guru manifesting as the Dharmakaya, and with strong devotion, continuously pray, generating a strong force of prayer. Light incense, and the guru combines the sound of the damaru and bell with a beautiful melody. Pray to Dharmakaya Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra) and Kuntuzangmo (Samantabhadri). Alternatively, it is also acceptable for the teacher and students to recite according to their own prayer texts. Please bless that the experiences and realizations of the profound path may arise in the mindstream. Etc., after the blessings of the lineage supplication have descended. The guru gives the student an exposition on emptiness. The students receive the four empowerments from the guru, and by blending their minds, the student's body, speech, and mind become inseparable from the guru's Vajra Three Kayas, and by relaxing and abiding in the state of freedom from elaboration, a roar of blessings arises. The appearances of body, speech, and mind merge with the guru. Thoughts transform into devotion. By gently relaxing in that state. The radiance of awareness shines brightly in devotion, clearly without clinging, and devotion is liberated into self-awareness. Self-awareness is liberated into the unborn, primordially pure Dharmadhatu, which is what it is called. In this state, without acceptance or rejection, one naturally maintains. After that, bestow the power of Tögal (Leap-Over) wisdom. Then, explain the above points in detail. When the first ray appears, set the self-luminous radiance of body and wisdom appearing as light and bindus as the target. Show the Vajrasattva mirror and say, "O sons of the lineage!" etc. to introduce. Fourth, in connection with this, according to one's own ritual, transmit the ways in which appearances of experience manifest, the steps of the Four Stabilities, and how to seize the self-nature of liberation, which is the guidance of Tögal. In addition, there are also Bardo (intermediate state), Phowa (transference of consciousness), Dark Retreat guidance, and Wind guidance.

Dream clarity and so forth should also be practiced according to the guru's oral instructions. In daily practice, based on the completion of the common preliminaries, primarily establish the original, natural state through Trekchö. If the first four sections, which have been explained and introduced, are not mastered, then merely familiarize yourself with them and, when certainty is gained in understanding, there is no need to obstruct. Therefore, the fifth section itself is the actual practice, so cultivate it as a unified whole. The nature of Tögal should be practiced in accordance with the manifest circumstances, and Bardo and Powa should also be practiced in accordance with the wisdom of superior and inferior capacities. At any time, the supporting teachings related to that path should be combined with the root instructions of the treasure texts, and familiarity should be gained with the places of classification and compilation of the pith instructions of the Rigdzin lineage. Thus, this guide to the Secret Essence is arranged as a service to the Sugata's General Path, and is written with the pure intention of benefiting oneself and others, by Padma Kundrol Namgyal, who takes devotion to the profound and secret Great Perfection as the path. Mangalam! Om Swasti! The wisdom pervading space, the mandala beyond thought and expression. Unobstructed clarity and emptiness, the great bliss of awareness. The common glory of beings in the three realms, Orgyen Guru. May the three-kayas guru bless my lineage. The Sugata's ten powers of merit, inconceivable as space. The wisdom of abandonment and realization, the non-abiding Nirvana free from clarity and obscuration, the glory of the two knowledges. The protector and refuge of countless sentient beings, as infinite as space. For three times and four times, until the end of space, may it be the object of prostration. The self-born, self-arisen Dharmadhatu emptiness, inherently free from change. Beings who wander again and again in the darkness of samsara, due to non-thinking and wrong thinking. Whatever is to be tamed, is tamed in that way, with the rope of compassion, never abandoning them for a long time. The nature of the two truths, the unsurpassed Great Perfection, without gathering or scattering. The ultimate nature, what is to be realized and what realizes, is liberated from causes, conditions, and characteristics. The uncontaminated heart-essence, moistened by the compassion of loving-kindness, the seed of wisdom. The yoga of great secrecy, without increase or decrease, the profound and clear wisdom mind. The nature of the three vajras, the unwavering noble Sangha, the object of faith. Self-knowing, self-illuminating, the youthful vase-body of
