Think thus. Oṃ āḥ svāhā purify the firewood. Oṃ śrī svāhā purify the ghee. Oṃ jriṃ svāhā purify the grains. Oṃ kuru kuru svāhā purify all other substances of their faults, and make them empty. From emptiness, from Bhrūṃ, arise vast and extensive precious vessels, inside which the three syllables melt into light, from which arise the substances for burning, whose essence is a great ocean of wisdom nectar, whose form is the five desirable qualities and other offerings without lacking anything, transforming into an immeasurable mass of Samantabhadra's offering clouds, equal to the limit of the sky. Oṃ hūṃ trāṃ hrīḥ āḥ! Oṃ āḥ hūṃ! Recite three or seven times. Then, take fire from a royal family's house and place it in a vessel. Recite Oṃ āḥ hūṃ, and light the ghee lamp. Fan it with a fan. Hūṃ! From the eastern direction, light the fire, take the fire mirror from the hand of a Gandharva, please light the peaceful fire! From the southwest corner, with firewood, take firewood from the land of the wind god, please wind goddess fan the wind! Recite Oṃ Agnaye Jvala Raṃ Raṃ, and light it, also offer seven ladles of ghee. Then, with kusha grass, Oṃ Vajrasattva Āḥ, bless it seven times, hold the two aligned tips in your hand, and recite: This kusha grass is pure and auspicious, it is the purifier of the Brahma gods, it pleases the Three Jewels, it is the lotus heart born from the earth, may it pacify and bring auspiciousness to all my obstacles. Place the opening of the hearth facing you, your face facing east, make the tips of the kusha grass face the four directions, and make the tip of the previous one press down on the root of the next one, spread it out like the shape of a cow's ear, not too long. Secondly, the main practice is divided into offering to the worldly and transcendent fire god, first is generating the deity: Oṃ Svabhāva's mantra purifies, the hearth becomes invisible, transforming into emptiness. From emptiness, let the white Raṃ melt into light, from which arises a white and shining fire hearth palace, with the opening facing outwards, in the center adorned with a vajra chain, the fire god is white, with the appearance of a sage, one face and two arms, the right hand holding a rosary and the left hand holding a fire hearth, surrounded by many sages.
