Recite the complete mandala retraction ritual, and in connection with that, or whatever is convenient, perform life release, ransom, water torma, tsa-tsas, proclamation of teachings, giving, smoke offerings, etc., doing whatever good deeds are possible, which is excellent. Offering a long life prayer for those present here, with the unified intention that they live long, and that during that time all monks and students are not disturbed by the five poisons, is of utmost importance. Offering a complete long life ritual with preliminary, main, and concluding parts for special individuals such as vajra masters is based on the secret instructions of Olkha Jedrung Rinpoche, regarding the instructions for the reincarnation.
