From today onwards, please protect me! Recite three times. The Lama says: Hūṃ! (藏文：ཧཱུྃ，梵文天城体：हुं，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ，汉语字面意思：Hūṃ) Son of the lineage, do not be distracted, do not be confused! All dharmas are impermanent, without essence. The city of samsara is a place of suffering. You have taken many bodies of flesh and blood. Entrusting hope in the dharmas of samsara is a mistake. Attachment, hatred, and karmic results are places of suffering. You traverse the dangerous paths of birth, death, and bardo. You abandon the compounded aggregates as corpses. You regard the ripening of defeat and downfall as treasures. Evil karmic imprints are driven by the wind. You aimlessly wander in the three realms of the lower realms. You associate with the messengers of Yama, whom you do not know. The illusions of your own actions arise. The appearance of illusion is ignorance. Habitual imprints are obscured by clinging and attachment. Therefore, do not be distracted, do not be confused. With the power of recollection and realization. With devotion, regard the deity and the Lama as one. With fervent devotion, offer prayers. Thus, clearly recite three times. If you wish to elaborate on the Dharma of the Death Ritual, you can do so here, but since there is nothing that is not included here, this alone is sufficient. Then, the Karma Vajra or the Teacher washes the image reflected in the mirror with water from the Karma Vase. Hūṃ!
