Having made this request, visualize that from the heart of the guru, the Bhagavan, the supreme ocean of Dharma, whose wisdom fully manifests and knows all, a garland of mantras riding on a horse of red light enters the mouth of you, the Bhagavan, the supreme ocean of Dharma, whose wisdom fully manifests and knows all. On the moon seat in the heart, turning to the right, visualize receiving the blessings of the speech of the Bhagavan Dharma Wisdom, and recite the long dhāraṇī and the near-heart mantra. After praying in this way, from the heart of the teacher, the supreme Dharma Ocean, whose wisdom is clearly manifested, a red HUM syllable (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽) emanates, with red rays of light, hot to the touch, swift in nature, like many meteors in the sky, striking your minds, which are clear with the wisdom of the supreme Dharma Ocean, contemplate that you have become aimless great emptiness, and remain without fabrication. The lama raises the hand symbol in the sky, utters the HUM sound three times, and remains in equipoise. Again, like a bubble bursting from water, or like a rainbow appearing from space, in an instant, visualize that you are clear as the body of the Tathagata, with a cluster of red HUM syllables (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽) at your heart, endowed with splendor, and by this empowerment, contemplate that you have received the secret, inconceivable empowerment of the Tathagata's heart. Thus, you have received the three empowerments of body, speech, and mind of the Tathagata, the wisdom of Dharma. Again, wishing to request the complete empowerment, say this: Namo Vajradhara, the great teacher, and the Sugata Bhagavan, grant us the maturation and liberation of body, speech, and mind.
