May the continuous activity never cease! I pray at the feet of the glorious Lama. The wisdom of all Buddhas gathered into one, Lama, all-pervading Lord Manjushri Vajra, may I, in all lifetimes, be inseparable and followed by you, and may I enjoy the feast of the supreme vehicle of Dharma. May the treasure trove of profound and vast wisdom, which can make the teachings of the Buddha in general, and the early translation Vajrayana in particular, shine like the sun through explanation and practice, be opened. May I attain the glory of fame that is victorious in all directions! This is the unfinished part of the supplication prayer of the oral biography of the omniscient Mipham Rinpoche. After this, the completion stage of Manjushri's Six Lamps, and other completion stages, and finally the root list of what needs to be supplemented by the fruits of experience. Please complete it, as urged by the greatly kind Khenchen Kunzang Palden. Therefore, Jamyang Chokyi Lodrö added some ignorant words to it. If there are any mistakes, I confess them, and may this virtue become the cause for the glorious Lama to take me into his care. Mangalam! The flowing rain of inner practice nectar abides. Namo Guru Bhaishajya Rajaya (藏文,梵文天城体:नमो गुरु भैषज्य राजाय,梵文罗马拟音:namo guru bhaiṣajya rājāya,汉语字面意思:顶礼上师药王). Homage to the unsurpassed remover of suffering, the Sugata and all the Bodhisattvas. Spreading the rain of wisdom nectar that cleanses the swamp of suffering and disease. Therefore, if someone is tormented by a disease, in order to rely on that disease to purify obscurations, complete accumulations, and permanently escape from the swamp of disease, one should train the mind in this way: that is, to see the disease as a virtue, and thus understand it as a door to purify obscurations; to know the disease as a teacher, and thus be mindful; to know the disease as a friend on the path, and thus engage in the practice of generosity and so on. Among these three, the first is that in this samsara there are various kinds of suffering that are extremely vast. We, who are helplessly born with the karma of birth, do not think of the suffering of samsara in times of fleeting happiness, nor do we accomplish our own benefit, but live in carelessness. The suffering of disease eliminates faults such as carelessness and arrogance, and is a special door for purifying obscurations. As it is said in the Bodhicharyavatara: "Furthermore, the virtue of suffering is that it eliminates arrogance through weariness." As it is said, the feeling of weariness towards suffering gives rise to the mind of renunciation from samsara, which becomes the basis of all virtues.

Especially, in this Saha world of Shakyamuni Buddha, even a mere headache can purify the suffering of the Avici hell, as repeatedly mentioned in many Sutras. Due to the Buddha's aspiration, although this realm is impure and filled with the suffering of the five degenerations, great and courageous Bodhisattvas are born here, quickly attain Buddhahood, and accomplish the great power of complete maturation and purification. Therefore, this time, my own illness will surely eliminate the many evil deeds accumulated from the past, so I should rejoice. Secondly, this illness of mine is much lighter than the unbearable and prolonged suffering of the three lower realms, which I and others have experienced countless times in the past. Now, if I do not seek liberation, I will have to endure suffering in countless lives. I did not understand this in the past. Now, even this illness is difficult to bear, so how can I endure the countless sufferings that are greater than this? Now, I am at a time when the precious teachings of the Buddha, which are the means to permanently escape suffering, are present. In any case, if I do not die, I must cross the ocean of samsara in this life. If I cannot accomplish this and die from this illness, I will offer my body, possessions, and virtuous deeds of the three times to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and strongly pray that I may attain the supreme and perfect enlightenment in the next life, because prayers will not be in vain. Furthermore, all other sentient beings are in the nature of suffering, but they do not understand this and still suffer in endless samsara. All of this is because the darkness of ignorance has obscured their minds and they have lost their autonomy. I will eliminate all their suffering and bring them temporary and permanent happiness. In order to be able to do this, I pray for the blessings of the Guru and the Three Jewels. In short, the deeper the suffering, the more firmly one must put on the armor to accomplish the great task of benefiting oneself and others in the future. From now on, one must be careful. In the past, because I was careless, I was dominated by karma and afflictions, and I unwillingly suffered this illness. If I had attained liberation earlier, why would I be sick now? Not only that, but even if I had properly adopted and abandoned the cause and effect of karma, I would not suffer.
