Therefore, at such a time, all dharmas are experienced in the manner of non-dual wisdom and self-awareness, yet free from elaboration, clearly arising in non-conceptual wisdom, and abiding in the realm of no birth and death, which is to obtain the empowerment of Samantabhadrī. Having lowered the bodhicitta, placing it in a glass bowl or mirror, offering it as a offering, the parents mutually indicating to each other, taking the siddhi of body, speech, and mind and consuming it, is to obtain the empowerment of Samantabhadra. The inseparable union of method and wisdom, this empowerment of vidyāvrata is based on method, and introduced by the guru's secret words, which is the empowerment, and the disciple's experience is the attainment of empowerment. After that, the transmission of the profound samaya of view and conduct should be measured. Fourth, bestowing instructions. It is taught within this category. In general, after such a higher empowerment has preceded, there are two types of instructions to bestow: the instructions of the meditative transmission and the instructions for accomplishing the essence. Bestowing these two is called accomplishing through instructions. Among them, first, bestowing the foundation of the meaning of the scriptures, bestowing the instructions of the transmission, and the third of the profound oral instructions, which is the king of all sadhanas, the non-dual wisdom of the minds of all victors, the sole true accomplishment spoken by Vajrasattva, and the five classes of mind, such as the great space spoken by him. Second, the instructions in which the learned and accomplished have condensed the essence of the meaning of the tantras into two passes are the instructions of the experience of those who have attained accomplishment, not held by the Buddha's own hand, and so on, bestowing as appropriate. Third, completely instructing and bestowing that very suchness, these are all oral instructions, so they should be remembered in the mind and received in experience. Second, the essential instructions for accomplishing the essence mantra are the meditative sounds, letters, and eight seed syllables, which should be understood as explained below. Thus, the bestowal of the instructions that completely fulfill the ultimate essential instructions is called the complete empowerment. If the essential meanings of these are summarized, they can be grouped into two: with signs and without signs. And the ultimate essential meaning of that is that the nature of mind, self-arisen wisdom, merges into one.
