Because realization is slower than mantra, it is combined with the gait of a horse. The fifth is the small, slow gait, like a horse walking quickly with small steps. Kriya, through witnessing equality, focuses on the body, speech, mind, and names of the deity on the conventional level, and with methods such as purification, swiftly perfects the two accumulations through skillful means. Therefore, it travels the path faster than the Paramita Vehicle, so it is combined similarly to this gait. The sixth is the trotting gait of a she-wolf, just as a wolf trots and runs, and horses trot when urged to go faster than their usual gait. The Upayoga and Yoga Vehicle, on top of Kriya's view and conduct, considers oneself and the deity as equal companions, or practices the view and conduct of non-duality of Samaya and Yeshe, and practices external and internal causes and conditions equally. Therefore, it travels the path faster than the Action Tantra, and is combined similarly to the trotting gait of a horse. The seventh is the dance-like gait, which is faster than the trotting gait, just as walking with a light step is fast. Surpassing Kriya Yoga is the Mahayoga Vehicle, because from the realm of the equality of mind itself, one visualizes the mandala of the dependent and the depended deities as a magical display of letters, appearing as the union of appearance and emptiness, like a reflection of the moon in water. Therefore, from now on, one uses the mandala of the resultant body and wisdom as the path, and has particularly excellent means, so one can quickly reach the Buddha's land. The eighth is the gait of a young horse running quickly, just as a horse trots very quickly. It is faster and covers more ground than the light gait. The Anu Vehicle does not require the labor of the external, elaborate generation stage, but from the pure realm of reality, in the manner of the manifestation of the resultant wisdom mandala, one recognizes one's own skandhas and elements as the Buddha-nature that is pure from the beginning, and thus takes the great bliss of the inseparability of reality and wisdom as the path, possessing special means. Therefore, it travels the path much faster than the lower vehicles. The ninth, called the gait of full gallop, is like a horse unleashing all its running ability and running without restraint. The Atiyoga Vehicle is such that all phenomena are the self-manifestation of the mind, and the mind is the nature of no-mind.

Emptiness, the awareness of Bodhicitta, which is without arising or ceasing from the beginning, great bliss, the single bindu, radiant wisdom, the great self-existent essence, the meaning of unalterable, the samadhi without arising or ceasing, abandoning the bonds of effort, abiding in the natural state. From now on, one can attain mastery in a spontaneously accomplished manner, thus reaching the pinnacle of all paths. Thus, one should understand the order of the vehicles through the nine gaits of the horse. The king of all vehicles, the Great Perfection, self-existent wisdom, equality, is to reveal the key point of seeing the meaning of one horse's cry or the first horse's cry. Secondly, the horse's cry associated with the path is the embodiment of the great compassion of all the victorious ones, the noble Avalokiteshvara himself, who is called glorious Hayagriva in his wrathful form. This is the great general glory of all the wrathful deities appearing in the undefiled lotus family, the supreme and unsurpassed lord who subdues all the excellent lords of wisdom, action, and the world, and whose compassion and blessings are swifter than those of other deities. The greatness of the horse's cry is symbolized by the thirteen qualities it possesses, namely: the horse's cry is melodious, gentle, emitted, secret, long, pleasing, connected, uninterrupted, powerful, energetic, tonal, vigorous, and excellent. Among them, firstly, like the melodious sound of a horse's cry, glorious Hayagriva also rejoices in benefiting beings with great compassion, corresponding to the first bhumi, the Joyful One, and the path of accumulation. Secondly, like the gentle sound of a horse's cry, glorious Hayagriva also gently benefits beings with great loving-kindness, corresponding to the second bhumi, the Stainless One, and the path of preparation. Thirdly, like the sound of a horse's cry traveling far and being heard, glorious Hayagriva also benefits beings by equally pervading and abiding in all places without being unheard, corresponding to the third bhumi, the Illuminating One. Fourthly, like the secret sound of a horse's cry, which is heard clearly without being mixed with other sounds, glorious Hayagriva also benefits beings with a clear and secret mind, accomplishing deeds. This corresponds to the fourth bhumi, the Radiant One. Fifthly, like the long sound of a horse's cry, the breath
