Since there is nothing other than producing results, the reason for not doing it all at once proves that gradual production is a matter of course. Since there is no difference that did not exist before, it is proved by that reason, so having a difference is also a matter of course, because this is an unreasonable reason. That is to say, when admitting that space and so on are permanent causes, using inference to prove that there is harm to it, there is no harm to the self-reliance at the moment, but that reason is not to prove that space is an impermanent thing. Second, the word "self-reliance" is because the dharma and the possessor of dharma are both the established, so the harm to the possessor of dharma will also hinder the dharma to be established at the moment. Therefore, it is explained that the harm to the possessor of dharma will also harm the established, because the possessor of dharma distinguished by the established dharma is also the one to be established, so harm to either party will lead to the failure of the established, and the isolated individual is not the established. Therefore, it must be clear that the isolated or unique possessor of dharma that is not related to the established dharma at the moment is not the basis here, so even if it is harmed, it will not harm this established. Third, refutation: If the reason is used to prove that space and so on are non-existent, then in the argument made by the Buddhist to the Samkhya, there will be the fault of excessively preventing the possessor of dharma. For example, the Buddhist says to the Samkhya, because it is not the cause of producing sounds and so on at the same time, so the nature of pleasure and pain is not unable to be born by others. This, like before, will become the establishment of non-existent, so that pleasure and pain will also become non-existent like space, and non-existent cannot be the cause of gradual production, which becomes a contradiction of preventing the possessor of dharma. Answer: Because the permanent nature is necessarily non-existent, in order to prove that it is not a permanent without other differences, it causes harm to the view of the Samkhya, but there is no intention to prove that it is impermanent itself, so it will not prevent the self-reliant possessor of dharma, just as it was said before. However, if it is assumed that impermanence is to be established, then the possessor of dharma, pleasure and pain, etc., will be established as non-existent.

It is not so. If this reason of "not producing simultaneously" is determined to be the establisher for the impermanence to be proven, then if the Buddhist reason admits that the dharma (ཆོས) has the characteristic of being a real thing, and also proves the impermanence to be proven, then it will become contradictory. Because there is no impermanence in non-things, even if the dharma characteristic that is the basis of impermanence is prevented, there will be no reason to establish such a contradiction, because this reason, according to the way of preventing the dharma characteristic as a non-thing, has not promised that this "not producing simultaneously" is the establisher of impermanence. Just starting from the point of view of speaking dharma, the reason proceeds gradually in an implied way, and the impermanence to be proven itself is not contradictory, so just considering these, it is allowed that the subsequent and pervasion are established, but because there is doubt about returning from the dissimilar category, this is a difference with remainder, a certain difference, not a correct reason with three characteristics for establishing impermanence. For example: the chief or the sky dharma (ཆོས) characteristic is impermanent with the difference of conditions, because it does not produce sounds etc. simultaneously. If it is established in this way, then the pervasion of that reason has been established by valid cognition. Although it is seen that "not producing simultaneously" is subsequent on similar category seeds etc., the reason of "not producing sounds etc. simultaneously" also exists on the dissimilar category permanent dharma, so there is doubt about the reverse pervasion. Even if the result is not produced simultaneously, it is not pervasive of impermanence, because there are cases where it is not produced in sequence and simultaneously, so it will be thought that just not producing simultaneously does not necessarily mean producing in sequence. Therefore, this reason is to prove that the opponent's assumed chief etc. as the cause, and also assumes that it is permanent, is harmed by the power of valid cognition, but one has never promised it as the cause. If so, even if there is no real thing, just the dharma characteristic of the sound meaning is the basis of what is to be proven at this time, and because it is not prevented, there is no fault in the reason. At this time, the Indian commentaries do not have more explanation than the brief one, and the Tibetan commentaries also say various differences, but this is only inconsistent with other ways of explaining, but if you do it like this, you can easily get understanding, otherwise it will be vague.
