Po la. Refuting faults and rejecting faults. First, if it is related to the mind, then only the object related to the mind will be expressed, and it will not understand or involve other unrelated meanings. Second, the refutation of the answer is not the same. First, if the object expressed by sound involves meaning, then because the name and other non-existents and the meaning of self-character are similar in two ways, people will mistakenly think that they are one and involve them. If you say so, then the similarity will occasionally lead to errors, but it will not be error-free at all times and in all places, because the objects of the senses are different, and if they can be distinguished, then sometimes they may not be wrong. Therefore, for the view that the object expressed by sound is always clinging to the self-character as one, sometimes it is seen that the object expressed by sound actually becomes a name, etc., which will cause damage. Second, for those with aspects, this is not the same. Names and other aspects are also unreasonable. First, if it is thought that what is expressed by sound is the aspect of cognition, then there will be the same fault. If you say so, then thinking that the aspect of cognition is the object expressed will not lead to the same fault, because it is not because seeing each other as similar that errors occur, but because the mind arises like the aspect of things such as bottles, the mind is like directly pointing to the self-character of the bottle, so the concept itself is wrong, so as long as it is a concept, it will cling to the self-character of things and the illusion of appearance as one, so there will be no situation where it is not wrong and does not involve things. In addition, for the view of no aspect, there is no such situation, because they do not admit the mind that appears as an external object. Therefore, even if the mind aspect that appears like a thing is not the object expressed, but the name, etc. that understands the self-character, saying it will not cause others to always make mistakes, because the two are different dharmas, just like twins, sometimes two people will be mistaken, but it is impossible to mistake them at all times and places. Second, things and the prevention of answers to them. First, if it is admitted that the mind of clinging to the general aspect that experiences names, etc. is indeed aspectual, then the object that appears is the non-existent conditioned dharma of name and sign, and if it is thought that it is a thing different from consciousness, then for it to be different, there is no valid measure to establish it, because the object

Because the opposite, therefore, the opposite of holding it is not established. That is, if a phenomenon like a pillar disappears, then the direct perception of holding the pillar will disappear, so the pillar is the fact of generating self-holding consciousness, although it is established, but the appearing object of the general consciousness does not exist anywhere, so the opposite of its consciousness will never be observed. If it is said that when it is observed, it is there, then, because there is no direction and time where it cannot be observed, it will become observed without opposition in all places, just like observing a vase in a place where there is a vase. If it is said that because it is not focused on, it will not be observed at all times, then, for things that are very close to the object, it is impossible to have successive appearances, just like seeing a variegated color, everything must be observed simultaneously. Therefore, general consciousness follows the opposite or not of convention and effort, but does not follow the opposite or not of the object. Convention and effort are internal components, and even if they exist, if there is no object indicated by the name, then consciousness will not arise, for example, in a direction empty of a vase, even if one deliberately focuses on the vase, the direct perception of holding the vase will not arise, similarly, if the essence of things such as names disappears, even if the internal components are complete, if the opposite of that consciousness is established, then it itself will be established as the object of that consciousness, but such a situation is impossible. Second, refuting that all consciousness has meaning, and the way to refute with meaningful discrimination. First, the essence of the object of grasping, such as names, that is, the object of other meanings, disappears or does not exist, but it is not seen that the opposite of that consciousness, this is not established. If no object appears in consciousness, then there is no object, but once it appears, all consciousness has the object of grasping, so it is only established as having an object, so a consciousness without an object different from consciousness will never be established, therefore, not relying on the object, but only from the internal components, consciousness itself appears as the image of the object, this is not established at all, is it? That is not reasonable, because dreams and hair illusions, etc., are not objects of grasping different from consciousness, but because seeing other images is only consciousness without objects of grasping, so if consciousness exists, it will not be established as having an object of grasping different from itself. The consciousness of dreams, etc., does not have an object of grasping different from consciousness, it is not like that, because that which becomes a non-associated formation is the object of grasping of that consciousness.
