The instruction is: There are two ways to uphold the Dharma: practicing the Dharma of realization and explaining the Dharma through scriptures. Therefore, speaking after understanding the meaning of the tantra is upholding the tantra, and thus it is entrusted with meaning. Because he has understood such a profound meaning of Dharma-nature, the tantra expounder and the intention are non-dual. Empowerment is also complete, because the meaning of empowerment is merely to generate such profound wisdom. Therefore, while turning one's back on the meaning of the Secret Essence, which is the spontaneously enlightened appearance and existence, even if one performs empowerments and explains tantras, it will only become a superficial image and not upholding the tantra. Due to weak intelligence, the tantra may also be distorted. As it is said in the Black Great Tantra King: "The incompetent teacher who does not know the supreme profundity will not even remember a single word of non-dual wisdom." As it is said. Therefore, when explaining the meaning of Great Perfection, one must speak in accordance with the oral instruction of the Vidyadhara lineage, and not in accordance with the expressions of children-like speculators and those with shallow intelligence, who take whatever words they find comfortable in their own minds as the basis. Because the fault of wrongly explaining the profound meaning of the tantra is very great. As it is said in the Kun Dus Rigpai Gyud: "If one does not have the eye of Dharma, with endless words, whatever one speaks of the meaning of terms, one cannot distinguish between right and wrong meanings. The mind follows words like a wild man, which is the basis and wrong path of learning. No matter how many hundreds of thousands of words of meaning one speaks, do not show it to others. If you show it, you will become a thief of the Vajra's words, and you will fall into the Vajra hell. Those who are pretenders, if they do not distinguish the meaning with wisdom, and are led by words and letters, and teach the Dharma unknowingly, it is more serious than taking the lives of all sentient beings, teaching the Dharma unknowingly." As it is said. In this way, entrusting the tantra is actually entrusting it to the self-appearing retinue and the Lord of Secrets, and in terms of meaning, it is entrusting it to the oath-bound protectors, the mothers and dakinis, and to those fortunate ones in the future who possess the eye of Dharma, it should be known that this is entrusted with the power of intention. There is no difference in meaning.

Another way of explaining is that, phrases such as "O! O! Ten directions and four times," etc., are taught in order, two lines at a time, to realize the appearance of the basic nature, to purify the appearance of wrong thoughts and delusions, to guide sentient beings to traverse the appearance of the path, and to attain the appearance of the fruition, the Sugata. In short, all the meanings of the tantra are summarized in the four appearances and taught, and it is considered that this tantra is entrusted to the retinue. Secondly, all the Tathagatas of the ten directions and times have no other ultimate secret of body, speech, and mind than this. This is the ultimate meaning of certainty made by way of establishing the wisdom of the noble ones. Because the meaning of reality is revealed as it is, the extremes of addition and slander are completely pacified, and this secret essence itself is the most supreme, excellent, and outstanding. Such a meaning is drawn from the mind of Samantabhadra's definite sphere and shown to the retinue. Or, because it is the profound secret of the Buddhas, it is the secret essence; from the definite sphere of reality that pacifies addition and slander, the one who arises and is born from the mind of Samantabhadra's heart is the one who realizes the meaning of the tantra. For example, just as waves arise from the ocean, from the basic sphere that is non-dual with the minds of all the Buddhas of the three times, the one who realizes his own Dharma nature without error through the appearance of self-power wisdom also does not change from that state. Such a person will surely be prophesied by the tantra's teacher, glorious Samantabhadra, to quickly attain Buddhahood without turning back. Just as the eldest son of a Chakravartin becomes the heir to the throne, the noble one who becomes the son of the Sugata is called born from the minds of all the Buddhas, because he is born from such a secret of mind. Therefore, the one who teaches the tantra to others is a learned person, and he himself is also called the most excellent Vidyadhara ground of all grounds, also called the Vajradhara ground, also called the most excellent ground of skillful means and wisdom, also called the thirteenth Buddha ground, and it is prophesied that he will abide in this ultimate ground. Again, for example, under the house of a poor man
