Like the appearance of goodness in scriptures, all forms appear, and it transcends the nature of ordinary aggregates, elements, and sense bases. For example, it has the characteristics of eight or twelve similes of illusion. How such a thing is, can only be inferred, but cannot be known by experiencing it with one's own mind. Therefore, when meditating on deities, one relies on looking at the painted images of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, or clay figures, or mandalas drawn with powder colors, etc., and cultivates by creating and contemplating such things in one's mind. However, all phenomena are without inherent existence, and even if one relies on reasons such as being separate from one and many, and applies these reasons to phenomena and cultivates, one will not realize that the objects themselves and emptiness are not different and are of one taste. Therefore, such a path of conceptual imputation is taught for the purpose of accomplishing worldly siddhis for beginners in yoga whose minds are not yet fully matured, and for entering into the meaning of the ultimate reality that transcends the world. Therefore, since there are many differences in the faculties and abilities of sentient beings to be tamed, their paths are also taught with different levels of superiority and inferiority. First, for child yogis whose minds are not yet mature, they should contemplate the form of a single deity hero, or even the wheels of a mandala. First, by looking at the painted image, they should bring such an image into their mind, and repeatedly contemplate and cultivate it through their own conceptualization of what is not the ultimate reality, and thus attain the experience of clear appearance. Then, in the empty sky, the yoga of the completion stage of Suchness, such as the stages of absorption, emptiness, compassion, and skillful means,

One should meditate continuously until it becomes stable. If considered from the perspective of the generation stage, it means focusing the mind single-pointedly on the visualization of the deity, and through gradual meditation, the body and mind are seized by the bliss of pliancy. With a serviceable calm abiding, the deity's appearance reaches the ultimate in subtlety and grossness, and then one's own mind becomes stable. If considered from the perspective of the completion stage, through the four branches of retraction, meditation, breath control, and retention, one's own mind becomes stable. When the mind has become stable in this way, then through the branch of mindfulness, with the yoga of mudras, after a few days, that is, one thousand one hundred and twenty-five days of the three years and three directions of the Wheel of Time, the bodhicitta will be completely transformed into the immutable body of great bliss wisdom, completing twenty-one thousand six hundred moments of bliss, and thus becoming free from the stain of transmigration. Here, in order to write the supports of commitment, namely, painted images, clay statues, and scriptures, one should seek a close attendant or devotee who is a speaker of the Dharma and possesses commitment. Let him do the painting and so on. It should be done in wrathful and peaceful forms of the deity. After drawing in this way, consecrate it according to the previously spoken ritual, and offer offerings and so on. One should make offerings to the Vajra Master, and offer a feast to the Sangha, and offer a tsok wheel to the community of mantra yogis, thereby opening the face of the support. At other times, one should also make offerings to the supports of commitment, the two communities of Sutra and Tantra Sangha, and the Lama, as much as one is able, and thus all activities will be accomplished. This is certain. Then, in this great king of tantras, the definitive meaning of the Vajra words, which reveals the hidden meaning from other tantras, is spoken. Here, Guhyasamaja and others are the tantras of means, Chakrasamvara and others are the king of all the tantras of wisdom. Among all the kings of tantras, it is certain that the Vajra words that reveal the wisdom of the fourth empowerment, the yoga of meditating on immutable bliss, is spoken to the yogis in the form of Vajra words that are difficult to destroy with the minds of children. Because all the paths of highest yoga tantra are the maturing four empowerments, and are related to the subsequent path—the practice of the two stages of the generation stage and the completion stage—it is the end of the path.
