One should not refute what is merely inferior with the notion of inferiority and hatred. Why is that? Because among sentient beings, some have gentle dispositions and are easy to tame, while others are hardened like barren land. Even if profound Dharma is taught to the latter, they may not be tamed at that time. Moreover, there are various and immeasurable predispositions that beings have, such as liking inferior habits, liking great habits, liking emptiness, disliking emptiness, liking permanence, disliking permanence, liking peace, and liking fierceness. Due to the power of these predispositions, they follow the minds of individuals, meaning that such predispositions reside in the mind. Therefore, the minds of sentient beings are necessarily like clear crystal that has been placed near objects of color such as blue, and thus take on the color of that object. Therefore, a yogi should not, without a special need, refute any Dharma that belongs to their own or another's tradition with hatred. In this way, even if there are temporarily beneficial, logically sound, and good aspects in the systems of non-Buddhists, one should not refute them. Moreover, even for extremely unreasonable and far-fetched theories, and for the religions of black Yaksha non-Buddhists that teach violent actions that harm sentient beings, one should not naturally refute them unless there is a need, such as to turn disciples away from evil paths. This is also stated in other tantras. One should understand that the emergence of such religions in the minds of those who are fond of such paths is due to the power of the infinite predispositions in the minds of sentient beings. Those who have attained yoga should view it like children playing in front of an old person, and should not refute it with strong hatred, otherwise it will hinder their own accomplishments. Here, it is said that higher schools of Buddhist philosophy should not refute lower schools, not that this applies to non-Buddhists, but applying it generally is meaningful. Even when revealing the evil and untrue philosophies of non-Buddhists, those who have attained the field of yogic practice should not hate them, because it is like the biographies of Bodhisattvas who, in order to subdue non-Buddhists, take on the appearance of non-Buddhists, teach the doctrines of non-Buddhists, and then gradually lead them to liberation. Even towards non-Buddhists, one should have hatred.

If one does not denigrate them, what need is there to mention Buddhism? Those who have not attained the realm of yoga practice, even towards other Buddhists who disagree with their own views, like tormenting a black snake, naturally harbor intense hatred and do whatever they can to refute them. It is said, 'Do not refute,' so it is difficult to be helpful, due to the power of the mind's habitual tendencies. Even if one does not refute other religions with hatred, the yogi himself does not just enter any religion that comes along. Rather, one must understand what is Dharma and what is not Dharma, then enter into Dharma and abandon what is not Dharma. So, what is Dharma and what is not Dharma? In brief, it is said that Dharma is whatever virtuous thing arises from a motivation that benefits sentient beings and is free from the three poisons, all that is encompassed by conventional truth and transformed into a collection of merit, and the profound collection of wisdom that is separated from the objects and forms of grasping and being grasped, such as meditating on emptiness endowed with all supreme aspects. Non-Dharma, on the other hand, is the opposite of virtue, being non-virtue, or turning away from the correct path and harming sentient beings by showing them the evil path. Therefore, even if adorned with well-formed Sanskrit and grammar, if it

Although there are various different schools of thought, the one who correctly points out the path, and possesses great compassion that saves all sentient beings from decline, is only the Buddhas, thus showing the incomparable teacher is: I am the teacher of gods and humans, in the noble heavenly realms I am the king of gods, the god of gods, on earth I am the great wheel-turning king of Dharma, and in the underworld I am the great dragon king who dispels darkness, properly revered by the steadfast lineage, in the boundless realms of sentient beings, I benefit beings by playing in various forms of taming, among all sentient beings, I am the unsurpassed supreme one, because I possess the wisdom that fully knows all knowable things, have become fully enlightened, the King of Sages who has abandoned the faults of body, speech, and mind, along with their habitual tendencies, possess the unchanging supreme bliss, am the master of all things, the great common glory, among yogis I am the unwavering perfection of Vajra Yoga, the essence of all knowledge, the most pure syllable of Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om) which is free from obscurations of body, speech, and mind, O King Good Moon, you Take refuge in me with all the objects of body, speech, and mind! I am the ultimate refuge, the unchanging body of wisdom. After speaking, the Brahmin Sun Chariot expressed words of refuge with unwavering faith to the tamer, Dharma King Manjushri Praise. It is shown with one verse, "You are the mother," etc.: Dharma King Manjushri Praise, you are like a loving mother to us who wander in samsara and have lost our way. Likewise, you are the father who sows the seeds of the Victorious lineage, you are the teacher of all beings, guiding the correct path, you are a relative and a good friend, you are the protector, you are the doer, doing beneficial things, you are the one who seizes sins, you are also the one who bestows the ultimate perfect state. You are the sole abode of all sentient beings, you are the abode of supreme qualities such as strength, destroying the faults to be abandoned.
