After that, for forty-six years, he turned the wheel of the Dharma of the three vehicles. Forty-seven years after becoming a Buddha, eighty full years after his birth, and eighty-one years in reality, he taught the Kalachakra Root Tantra at the stupa of Drepung Monastery (འབྲས་སྤུངས་, located in the western suburbs of Lhasa) on the last day of the Black Month in the Iron Dragon year. In the last night of the Saga month after that, he passed into nirvana in Kushinagar, and this view holds that the testament of Kalachakra was taught in this way, and he passed into nirvana in that year.
