This teacher, the wise Sapa, who possesses discerning wisdom, was once a Bodhisattva, and at that time he was the leader. For example, his father, the Brahmin Krishna, would ask the Brahmin boy Fire-offerer about all aspects of agriculture, and would not do anything without asking. That Brahmin boy was a close friend and attendant of the young Micro-dust and the king's entourage, the six royal families. When the king, the lord of the directions, wanted to play or enjoy pleasure, he would entrust all the necessities and tasks to the Brahmin Krishna, and then he would go to the foundation of the upper palace, where he would play and enjoy pleasure with the musicians. Later, at another time, when the Brahmin Krishna died, the king regretted it and said that after the Brahmin died, my status had become lower, and he mourned for it. The prince, young Micro-dust, asked the king why he was so saddened by the death of the Brahmin Krishna. The king said that when I wanted to play, etc., all the things were done by that Brahmin. The prince said: Do not be sad about that, why? Because this Brahmin boy Fire-offerer is both intelligent and clear, and his father, the Brahmin Krishna, would also ask him about all the things to be done, and would ask him before doing anything.
