Therefore, we are all seeking a teacher for liberation and have entered the teachings of the same teacher, so there is no need for any bias like 'you' and 'I.' In the 'Treatise on Arguing Reality,' regarding cases such as 'these limbs,' the so-called 'these limbs' should be understood as meditation. It is unreasonable to say that other perfections are assistants that work together with wisdom. The Ornament for Clear Realization states, 'Relying on the former, the latter arises.' And the Root Verses on the Bodhisattva's Way of Life state, 'Accumulating merit with reverence.' Although many scriptures establish this, there is no need to bother answering, because there is also a way of explaining that the former perfections are the cause and the latter perfections are the result. There is also a way of explaining that the other five perfections are assistants that work together with wisdom. As it is said, 'When one is completely grasped by wisdom, at that time one obtains the eye and also obtains this name.' Although there are many scriptures, I will not elaborate. In short, in any case, these two explanations are not contradictory, so there is no benefit or harm to merely clinging to one-sided wisdom. However, saying 'lies are deeply hidden in Chinese texts' in fluent Chinese, and the intermediate interspersed verses, are merely for adding interest. If there is no harm from reasoning, how can such rambling speech, merely arguing about the views of the texts, become the roar of a fearless lion? Furthermore, in your टीका, it says that wisdom brings the abandonment and realization to completion, and generosity and so on are said to be its assistants. In this case, emphasizing the word 'meaning' is unreasonable, because 'meaning' should be understood as wisdom. In the explanation of the 'Arising of Wisdom,' it is quoted as saying, 'The so-called 'meaning' refers to the wisdom itself mentioned earlier.' This is refuted because there are two ways of explaining it: 'for the meaning of generating wisdom' and 'the meaning or assistant of the main path, wisdom, bringing abandonment and realization to completion.' Here, it is explained according to the latter way, so how can it be harmed by scriptures explained according to the former way? Moreover, there is no valid reasoning that it cannot be said to be an assistant. If you think that it is unreasonable to say it that way, then your explanations such as 'for the meaning of wisdom possessed by boundless accumulations' will also necessarily become unreasonable. Furthermore, as Shantarakshita said, 'First abandon the pursuit of true wisdom, in a world where thick wrong views dwell,' and so on.

According to the meaning of the couplet, both the way of wisdom going first and coming after are clearly considered by Je Rinpoche as the essence. If you elaborate on this one-sided, narrow explanation, although there is no harm to anyone, there is no need to show off too much. Also, there is no point in criticizing the faults such as the joint method and wisdom also becoming mutual friends, and if the power of words is exerted, it will be understood as the king's intention. Although skillful means and wisdom are mutual friends, here, due to the intention of expression, there is no harm in establishing wisdom as the main meaning of the path. Like you, if you explain for the sake of generating wisdom, but if it is not grasped by the wisdom that realizes emptiness, you will not get the name of Paramita, so it will become a mutual friend, and there is no need to specifically emphasize that it is the king's intention. Because the king himself and the joint entourage accomplish what needs to be accomplished, that alone is enough to be an example. Also, the word "only" in "only showing wisdom as the main thing" seems to take the life away from the previous word, saying that your teacher is only a teacher and you are only a student. In response to this, it is said that words like "only" have different situations such as non-possessive exclusion and other-possessive exclusion depending on the intention of expression and the way of combination. What is the use of this one-sided stubbornness? Saying "only showing the main thing" excludes the non-main thing, just as saying "only mind" excludes the non-mind other than the mind. You pay so much attention to the trivial, it seems that you are only a teacher who explains the word "only". Also, in the commentary, quoting the other party's point of view, it says: "You cannot turn away from the 'I' you are attached to, and you cannot turn away from the 'I' that is established by nature." This is unreasonable, because the Prajna Utpatti says "It is also better than seeing me" and Shantideva says: "Your ignorance of clinging to the mind-only school will not change your pride." Therefore, it is said that your explanation is to defile the excellent treatises of the holy land with your own defilements. In response to this, it is said that although different treatises have different explanations, they do not contradict each other in meaning.
