Merely saying something that disagrees with (one's own view), most people nowadays have strong partisan biases and attachment and aversion, and cannot be impartial. The readers of both old and new schools, even if they spend many years arguing over the expression of words and the subtle differences in phrases, few can truly understand the profound key points, so in the eyes of most who do not understand, this humble person is also criticizing the works of great figures such as Tsongkhapa, and they become angry because of this, thinking little about the meaning within, so I have not said much. Therefore, in the snowy land of Tibet, I both respect and gratefully acknowledge the works of the supreme Tsongkhapa, whose activities for the Buddha's teachings are unparalleled, as clear and detailed. However, regarding the differences with the views of the ancient saints, the holders of ancient traditions insist on their own views and prove them with scripture and logic, which is the common practice of all sects, so if others are angry at any such statement, it clearly shows their own limitations. If the holders of ancient traditions refute others, etc., and later scholars make rebuttals that conform to pure scripture and logic to the holders of traditions, if one is angry, it also exposes one's own limitations, therefore, regarding the words spoken by oneself and others, one should analyze which one conforms to the correct scripture and the logic of real power, and it is not right to be swayed solely by partisan bias. Therefore, from the great monastic college of glorious Drepung Monastery, Trepo Drakkar Tulku Lobsang Palden Tenzin, known for his clear wisdom, wrote a work called "Explaining the Key Points of the Profound Madhyamaka, Opening the Door to Joyful Wisdom," which clearly expounds his own views, and came here to refute me, I am not only not unhappy, but like a peacock hearing the summer thunder, I feel happy and nourished. Those who adhere to the tradition of whatever Dharma gate they have entered and refute statements that are inconsistent with it is the noble tradition of sons following their fathers. Although I despise those mediocre people who are complacent and boastful because of the bad times, I like to follow the traditions of others, because I am different from those shameless people who clumsily imitate others but do not feel ashamed.

Even so, when others say something, I immediately respond with a rebuttal, and I can't help but wonder what to do. However, because many concerned people before and after have earnestly urged me, saying that there must be a clear explanation of the views of the Tibetan predecessors and successors, I am happy to explain some of the differences in the responses in the debate when it is appropriate. Like the great Tsongkhapa, I would never be disrespectful. However, just as a stick and a drum sound, or a sound and an echo, because of relying on dependent origination, when I speak a little about the words of debate, I hope that you can analyze it with a mind like an illusion, through the reasoning of facts, and not feel displeased. In this regard, Draktrul Rinpoche said this: "In the work called 'Prajna Commentary: Wish-Fulfilling Jewel,' because the author does not have a deep understanding of the philosophical tenets, there are some important statements that are inconsistent with doctrine and reasoning, so while explaining the profound key points, we must also refute them." He first identified the object to be refuted, namely, the realists of our own school believe that if there is something that is not established by harmless consciousness, but is established from the perspective of the way things exist, then it is considered to be truly established, and the consciousness that clings to it is innate clinging to reality. The Svatantrika-Prasaṅgika school believes that all phenomena are merely imputed by conceptual thought or established by it, as stated in the scriptures: "The worlds are imputed by conceptual thought." If there is something that is not merely imputed by conceptual thought, but is established from the thing itself, then it is considered to be truly established, and the consciousness that clings to it is innate clinging to reality. And so on. In this regard, I will analyze it. In general, in the context of Madhyamaka, the definitive conclusion is that all phenomena are merely imputed by conceptual thought, and there is not a single thing that is established from the thing itself, which is the flawless view of the holy ones. The great Tsongkhapa also clearly explained this, and his excellent explanation is unparalleled. However, the view that all phenomena are merely imputed by conceptual thought is the common view of all the wise men of the Svatantrika and Prasaṅgika schools. If it is considered to be an uncommon view of the Prasaṅgika school, then it is a big mistake. Because, if we examine it with the wisdom that examines ultimate truth, then no phenomenon can be established as something that can be examined.
