. The asceticism of the Hearers is from the Vinaya, summarizing the three trainings: Do no evil, which is from the aspect of the training of discipline, even more serious than the path of the ten non-virtues, such as killing, stealing, non-celibacy, lying, etc., are the opposite of things that should not be done, such as the four defeated dharmas. Practice good in perfection, which is from the aspect of the training of wisdom, summarized by the wisdom that realizes the meaning of the four truths without distortion, practicing and attaining the noble path and the dharmas of the fruit. Tame your own mind, which is from the aspect of the training of mind, turning the mind away from external distractions and training in single-pointed meditative concentration. This principle is the teaching of the Buddha, which is a word of measure, unlike the teachings of external lords, etc., it is a measure that everyone can trust, taught by the Buddha, and is the well-spoken holy Dharma Vinaya. It is said that, therefore, all good and non-good dharmas are considered to exist in both conventional and ultimate truth, just as any dharma that appears in conventional consciousness also appears in ultimate consciousness, therefore it is said that both exist. Therefore, doing good with body and speech, abandoning non-virtue, is practicing asceticism and vows. Above, when considering the view of the Pratyekabuddha, it was placed separately, but here asceticism is not mentioned because it is the same as the Hearers. The asceticism of the Bodhisattva is: In order to liberate all sentient beings from the ocean of samsara, generating the mind of omniscient wisdom is the basis of the vows, and without attaining omniscient wisdom, one cannot benefit sentient beings, therefore, to attain it, the cause is the mind of enlightenment, the root is great compassion, and the ultimate is skillful means, these three are indispensable. Its opposing aspect is the natural transgression, the Bodhisattva has four defeats: Abandoning the mind of enlightenment is the opposing aspect of the Bodhisattva's vows, not protecting sentient beings due to stinginess, and harming sentient beings with a harmful mind.

Two are the opposites of compassion, and abandoning the sacred Dharma is the opposite of skillful means. If one is not controlled by these four but is controlled by compassion, then one must also discipline with body and speech. In the Twenty Verses on the Bodhisattva Vows, it says: 'Even if the Bodhisattva's act of disciplining beings through punishment is suitable as a cause for taming beings, if the act of punishment does not benefit beings, it will still be a downfall. Even if one tames by means of displaying miracles, seduction, rebuke, intimidation, and so forth, if one does not do so with pure means, it will still be a downfall. Why is that? Because the mind is filled with compassion and loving-kindness, and there is no fault even if the mind is engaged in virtue harshly.' It says. If the motivation is controlled by great compassion, then all dharmas are virtuous, and no matter what seemingly non-virtuous actions one engages in, the Bodhisattva's vows will not be broken. In short, the Bodhisattva's vows are practiced based on great compassion. The secret, unsurpassed asceticism is: In the Sutra of Great Samaya itself, it says: 'If one has great certainty or conviction in the unsurpassed Great Equality of Method and Wisdom, the Buddha Vehicle, then even if one indulges in the five afflictions and the five objects of desire, it is like a lotus that is not stained by mud. For that supreme individual, all the vows of the Hearers and the Bodhisattvas will be perfectly complete.' It says. Because all dharmas are primordially equality itself, compassion is primordially present and cannot be separated, so there is no need to rely on it, and hatred has no self-characteristic, so it cannot be abandoned, because it is primordially equality itself. If one is controlled by such a mind of equality, then nothing will be contradictory, that is his intention. In short, the vows of the Hearers are to refrain from harming sentient beings. The vows of the Bodhisattvas are to engage in benefiting them on top of that. The vows of Secret Mantra are to practice and engage in the activities of the Tathagatas on top of those two. Furthermore, the vows of the Hearers are primarily actions through the gateway of conceptualization and the actual basis, while the Bodhisattvas are primarily compassion, and Secret Mantra is considered to be primarily wisdom. Also, the Hearers learn from the previous noble Arhats, and
