Thinking that without those, what are these now? Alas, if foolish people think that everything that is not manifest now does not exist, then there will be no tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, so it is not appropriate to prepare food and other reserves. The other world exists, although it has not been seen directly, but it has not been seen that it does not exist, so how can it be said that it does not exist? While not considering direct perception as reliable, clinging to the wrong inference of tenets, this pitiful and amazing ugliness is truly lamentable! Considering such views, those who believe that earth and other things that truly exist, believe that the four great elements gather, and the five objects and five senses all exist, then according to their view, gathering means that many non-gathered things are gathered together, therefore, the consciousness that clings to gathering will also become multiple, and it is impossible to be consistent with one real thing. So it is said. Third, regarding the view of the Samkhya school, arguing that consciousness cannot be truly unique, it is divided into refutation and refutation of defense. First, the verse says: Courage and other words like "I", also appear as one meaning in the direction, consciousness is not the nature of reason, because the three natures manifest the object. So it is said. This refers to the person named Sage Kapila, who obtained merit through asceticism, and appeared in the snowy mountains (referring to the Himalayas) during the reign of King Yulkhor Kyong. Based on his own meditation experience, he created the "Ishvara Krishna Sixty Sutras", "Fifty Characteristics Sutras", etc., and used the three proofs and seven commentaries as the measure of doctrine, and was called the Kapila school or the Samkhya school. They believe that all knowable things are twenty-five tattvas, which are divided into matter and consciousness. Among them, the self (Sanskrit: ātman, Tibetan: བདག་), that is, the enlightened person, is consciousness, and has five characteristics such as permanence and reality. The origin of all matter is the principal matter, which is permanent, one, material, not the enjoyer but the creator. Its essence is that dust, darkness, and courage are equally divided, making it difficult to understand. Dust is suffering or sorrow, courage is happiness, and darkness is abandonment, which are the three gunas (Sanskrit: guṇa, Tibetan: ཡོན་ཏན།, Sanskrit Romanization: guṇa, Chinese literal meaning: गुण). These three are not large or small, and do not lean to any side, and are the main cause, just like the material of pots and other things is clay. From this, twenty-three kinds of changes arise.
