All of these are to be fully understood. It is to abandon attachment to me, the seer, and so on. The seven subtle consciousnesses that are difficult to understand are: the subtle consciousness of ignorance, the subtle consciousness of the vessel, because the appearance is completely uninterrupted at all times. The various consciousnesses are that the appearance of one consciousness is various, because it is difficult to establish. The co-emergent consciousness is that the consciousnesses that arise at the same time completely cut off their respective objects as they are, because it is difficult to establish. The subtlety itself should be added to everything. The consciousness that quickly arises as an antidote to the unfavorable side is the mind that possesses all the bonds of attachment, etc., and does not arise separated from attachment, etc., for a moment. The consciousness of habit is that the habit of karma is imbued in the mind, and although this mind and that karma are neither one nor different, it is difficult to investigate the attainment of the gradual arising of results. The consciousness that connects the continuum is that the consciousness imbued by the karma that cannot accomplish many bodies is not clear at the time of death, and from the awakening of any habit, it is difficult to contemplate the arising in any realm. The subtle consciousness of liberation is that the mind of the Arhat attains the ultimate non-elaboration, the defiled conduct accustomed to samsara, transcends everything, and that is difficult for ordinary people to think about. How many of the six consciousnesses have conceptual thought? How many do not have conceptual thought? Only the mind consciousness has conceptual thought. There are also three types of conceptual thought: nature or self-nature conceptual thought, all consciousnesses hold their own objects in this way. Recollection conceptual thought, remembering the formations previously experienced. Manifest conceptual thought, conceptualizing the hidden things of the past, future, and present. As it is said, the conceptual thought that mixes sound and meaning is also seven conceptual thoughts, the conceptual thought that naturally enters the object, the six aggregates grasp their own objects. The conceptual thought with signs, the nature remembers the present and the past. The conceptual thought without signs, for the objects of the future. From the four categories of manifest conceptual thought, sometimes it is the conceptual thought of universal seeking, sometimes it is the conceptual thought of individual distinction, and sometimes it is the conceptual thought of affliction.

Sometimes it is thought without afflictions, there are four in total. What should be directly known are the six superknowledges. How should one directly know? What are the objects to be directly known? Why should one examine superknowledges? Because with miraculous powers one can go to all places, with the superknowledge of the ear one can obtain all sounds, with the knowledge of others' minds one can enter the conduct of others' minds, one can know past lives, with the divine eye one can go to the future, and also because with the exhaustion of outflows one can definitely be liberated from the three realms. Everything is also the object of the latter three, so they are to be directly known. It is to abandon the manifest clinging to oneself as having power and so on. How is it with form? How many kinds of things are with form? How should one examine what has form? It is the self-nature or essence of that form, and the form that is the cause, that is, the cause-born itself becomes the basis. The born also, because they possess each other internally, are everything. And the delight in that, what is the cause of its arising, that is with form. The cause of the arising of feelings and so on is not like past delight and present arising awareness and so on. Having directional parts, and the object pervades with its parts, and it can be indicated that these are these directions, and the object can be indicated nearby, and some objects become the object of experience there, and both I and others equally focus on it as the object of experience, and eye consciousness and so on are also connected to that form indirectly, and even for those born in the formless realm, the seeds of form are subsequently connected, and by those who have directly realized, they are very distinctly apprehended as the object, and among the five aggregates, form is to be harmed, and by teaching, it makes others understand, and it establishes the accumulation of particles, and the practitioner in the desire realm, looking outward, focuses on desirable qualities and looks with craving, and the form realm practitioner looks inward, the form of the desire realm practitioner is caused by craving for desirable qualities looking outward. The form of the formless realm, because it is born from the craving of the mind of meditative absorption. Therefore, it should be known that this form is born from the mind. The beginning and end of the form of an ordinary being is a long, infinite continuum, and the form of a learner brings about the end of samsara.
