One should seek the existence or non-existence of things through the meaning that possesses the characteristic of "non-being." The commentary on the "Handbook of Reasoning," composed by the venerable Arya Deva, is complete. Homage! A Differentiation of Ground, Path, and Fruition, called "The Oral Instructions of Buddha Padma" Now, homage to Guru Padma Manjushri Vajra Tikshna (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning). The cloud of wondrous, supreme compassion, the golden essence, Possessing a garland of lightning of excellent wisdom and a million paths of reasoning, Beautiful with the pleasant sound of explanation, debate, and composition like the roar of a dragon, I pay homage to that cloud that holds the rain of benefit and happiness, a jewel! In all the gardens where many flowers bloom, For the fortunate opportunity where the bumblebee of discernment roams, Some displays of youthfulness of intelligence and wisdom, I leave here in the guise of honey of good explanations. Just as the roar of a lion, Terrifies the hearts of wild animals, Similarly, if one says "emptiness," The Hearers are frightened and revile it. However, saying "emptiness" is not untrue, Similarly, the supreme Dharma of Atiyoga, Even if lower beings cannot bear the burden, Why is the Great Vehicle not true? Wherever whatever appears as Dharma, Its nature is primordially pure, The spontaneously accomplished wisdom is itself the Buddha. Therefore, other than the Buddha alone, One will never find it elsewhere. Suffering, origin, path, and the truths, Because one has not seen this meaning, one needs to see it, If one sees it, one will not transcend it, That is considered the heart-jewel of the tenet. Just as the meaning of establishing the state of mind of delusion and non-delusion, If one is to take or leave, it is the latter, Because it is established by abandoning the exhaustion of delusion. If suffering and origin must, Necessarily be established, Then who will attain Buddhahood? The unestablished realm is primordially Buddha. Just as the scattering wind, Though it can extinguish a small lamp, When a great fire spreads in the forest, The power of the fire becomes a friend to ignite it. Similarly, afflictions such as attachment, Obscure the wisdom of those with small minds, When great wisdom blazes, Those very afflictions appear as aids. Therefore, the so-called obscuration of wisdom, Is relative to the mind, but not to the meaning. Because for the meaning, the wisdom Dharmakaya, Who can obscure it? The ultimate truth that destroys illusion, The ultimate truth cannot be destroyed by anyone. So, whatever appears in that ultimate truth, Is the very truth, that is the tenet. In short, all these All these arguments are unreasonable.

If conventional truth, which is fundamentally deluded, were to perish, would it? Because of relying on afflictions such as ignorance, perhaps it might still rely on you for a while. If you ask how samsara is accomplished, it is like a cataract in the eye causing a blurred vision. Shouldn't one still rely on the supreme friend who eliminates what is done by delusion? As for delusion, its cause and effect, where is ultimate truth in them? Those ultimate truths come from ultimate wisdom; if they are otherwise, they are not Buddhas. If everything is solely wisdom, then by what is one bound and wanders in samsara? Even if everything is solely emptiness, please contemplate by what one is bound and wanders in samsara. When one enters into accomplishment, no matter how one examines, one only sees the mountainside. All those arise from oneself; if one reaches the other shore, they will not appear. Likewise, regarding the profound reality, no matter how one examines, it does not move; but the appearance of movement is one's own mind, which is like throwing a knot into the sky. The sphere of reality, free from elaboration and utterly stainless, is the supreme abode of inconceivable qualities of enlightenment. The wisdom of primordial purity, spontaneously accomplished, is said to be the ultimate essence of the Victorious Ones. That vajra body, like space, is eternal and pervasive. It is the sacredness of purity, bliss, and self, but it is not biased towards being non-empty and existent. It is emptiness and purity, indestructible. That itself, whether in a long time or even now, whenever it is realized, at that time one is a truly complete and perfect Buddha. If it depends on time, then how could the immeasurable accumulation of merit, even if created in a fraction of a moment in the three times, be accomplished? The saying of countless three, etc., refers to the path, not to the actual meaning. If one needs to strive for a long time, then what is the use of a Buddha who can be accomplished in one lifetime? The above is the explanation of the result, the vajra of space pervading the sky, the sugatagarbha inseparable from the ground and result, one's own nature is free from cause and condition, it is spontaneously accomplished and unconditioned. Although the sugatagarbha is not a Buddha, it becomes so through the power of the path. If it is an artificial, conditioned Buddha, it is not considered impermanent and subject to cessation. That is the basis. Just as a bird without wings cannot soar into the sky, the Victorious Ones have said that likewise, a path without skillful means and wisdom is not a true path. Therefore, merely negation and emptiness, without being connected to the path of compassion, each of those two alone cannot accomplish supreme enlightenment.
