Much has been said. Similarly, regarding the astrological treatises well-explained directly and indirectly from the tantras and commentaries by Kunga Choying Gyatso, the lord of knowledge, the solstices, zodiacal signs, etc., of summer and winter are very much in accordance with the tantras and highly representative. In particular, regarding the Chinese astrology of the upper Themi Dawa, which is said to be a fragment left by a sage with clairvoyance, is the astrological fragment actually found? Thinking that the solar passage is very accurate, as in the Kalachakra Tantra, and that there are no errors in anything such as solstices and eclipses, I have repeatedly heard instructions from Drimey Zopa Gyaltsenpa, who had errors in his black and white lunar astrology. Furthermore, everything that does not agree with the tantras and commentaries is taken because the astrological fragment is not pure. Therefore, if you want to use other treatises as a reference and be in accordance with the tantras, you should say it like this: The four continents only have the difference of morning and evening, otherwise, it is considered that the solstices are on the same day. When Capricorn (Aquarius) is reached, it is the winter solstice in the four continents, and when Cancer is reached, it is the summer solstice, and these two are equally divided. The rising and setting of the sun do not need to be inclined as in other systems. It is also correct that the east and west are directly opposite each other. The southward movement is fast in Jambudvipa, and the northward movement is slow, which can be understood by examining the cycle based on the amount of apparent movement. At the extreme of the southward movement, from the next day onwards, it gradually rises higher in the sky, and the movement becomes slower, while the downward movement is faster, which is obvious. The measure is also within three-quarters of the middle of the water in the south, and more than half of the center of the earth. From the earth to one-quarter of the middle of the water, and where birds perch up to the boundary between fire and wind, even if there is doubt that the shadow will lean southward, the sun is highest at that time, so such a shadow will not appear. The twelve zodiacal signs of the globe have no width or narrowness, and are all on the same path. Six signs, which need half, are arranged in the north-south direction. A shape like a bow and a lotus will appear. The twelve are arranged in a circle, and the twelve continents do not need a circle for each of their own continents. It can be known by observation that the sun does not rise and set obliquely. Similarly, from two parallel lines, drawing a mental image is half the position of the great globe, and the earth and half of it on their respective grounds do not need to be superfluous. The three hundred and sixty solstices are only mentioned in the root tantra and commentaries, and there is no other explanation.

It is not specifically stated for each of the six regions. Since the increase and decrease of day and night hours in the six regions are mentioned, why are the solar returns not mentioned separately? Only the returns in Capricorn and Cancer are mentioned, although some say that solar returns are also mentioned in Sagittarius, etc., but there is no mention of it in the commentary on the tantra. In the tantra, regarding the first month of the northern course, it is said that the length of the shadow should be observed for ten days, but if the shadow is not accurate, the solar return will not be accurate. If the solar return is not accurate, the moon and the five planets will not be accurate. Moreover, when the wise Norzangba observed the length of the shadow at Tsetang Samtenling, he said that the sun also reaches Sagittarius, and after seven days, the shadow of the summer and winter solar returns will change. Therefore, for the past dates of the Kalachakra, he used the method of subtracting with mountains. It is said that the initial solar return of Sagittarius is considered to be the diameter of eastern Jambudvipa. This place where we live is the location after passing seven constellations from the diameter of eastern Jambudvipa, and it is also recognized by the successors who count twenty-three constellations eastward from the diameter of southern Jambudvipa. My teacher, the great scholar, said: There is no need to talk about everything else, whether large or small books. Both large and small China are in the eastern region, and it is difficult to admit that there is Ngayabling. In the Kalachakra, regarding the part of southern Jambudvipa in the six regions, the degree of increase and decrease of day and night hours is mentioned. Therefore, the six regions must be in the middle. The north-south position and solar returns, etc., are mentioned. From the edge of the Cool Mountain to the southern end of India, it is only divided into six parts. If these six places exist according to the actual situation, then examination will contradict direct perception. The 7th Yeshe Paljorpa also said: The way the sun revolves around the earth, the sunrise and sunset in each of the six regions are calculated based on the shadows of the past and future, which is due to the rights of the land. The six regions are arranged on the north-south line, although they are arranged in this way, if the east-west direction of the world is divided into six parts, then from India onwards, up to the edge of each region, it is said that in order to easily determine the length of the day, etc., according to the circular position. Although the way the sun moves is divided into thirty parts according to the power of the sky, it is believed that the sky does not have to be located in that direction. This method is one-thirtieth of southern Jambudvipa, calculated from the western end to the eastern end. After doing this, the twenty-three parts are distributed to Dotoe and other places, up to the edge of the ocean. However, the two courses are in Nyarchu.
