In order to realize the path, the circular line cut from the fire region to the cold mountains is seen as coinciding with the meridians on a globe. This is because of the appearance of the places just mentioned. Therefore, even if the sun revolves around the four continents, the people of the world each have their own views, and if it is not true in one's own view, why should one conform to other continents? If one conforms, it would be too extreme, and faults such as seeing the sun in all four continents at the same time would occur. This will not be understood unless it is examined with extremely subtle intelligence. Although this requires many metaphors and arguments, it is temporarily put aside due to the fear of many words. The third is being presumptuous about the situation of the places. When he establishes his own system, he admits the superimposed or hat-stacked structure. To prove this, he only takes his own perception as a measure, and says that others should not be disparaged as unsuitable as a measure, relying only on our own views, inferring that the sun rises and sets from southeast to southwest after reaching the extreme south, thereby admitting that the four seasons are the same in the four continents. In order to avoid the fault of the length of day and night, the example of a lamp is used to explain that the sun is seen earlier when it is high, and later when it is low. The difference in height causes the length of the sun to change, which is the same as the previous point of contention, so it is thought that blame can be avoided. When I examine this method, I feel that it cannot withstand the force of reason. This needs to be measured by three valid cognitions. First, from the perspective of scriptural authority, the view that the four continents have the same four seasons has already been refuted by the previously cited scripture. "Why use scripture when seeing with one's own eyes? What is the use of scripture that contradicts direct perception?". It is true that what is written in the book is true, and there is no need for scripture that contradicts valid cognition, and if direct perception becomes a clear sign, there is no need to cite scripture. We are also very fond of the path of reason, and even if this matter has been proven by scripture, if the meaning of the scripture is argued with reason, it can be analyzed in this way: that is, the way it contradicts inference and direct perception. First, is the hat-stacked structure that you believe in a structure that is different like twelve houses stacked into twelve hats? Or is it a structure like a house around one hat, and then one stacked on top of the other, like bricks in a wall? Hat stacking.

In the system of the earth, is it difficult to surpass these two? According to the first view, does the sun penetrate the globe, which you consider to have obstacles, and go upwards, or does it go up and down from the surface without needing to penetrate? According to the first view, the unreasonableness has been eliminated by your own admission. According to the latter view, what scripture or reasoning proves the existence of two or three layers of wind spheres? If there are twelve superimposed houses, then the sun goes up in six houses and down in six houses. When ascending and descending, does it cross each house one by one, or does it move sequentially? If it crosses, then the sun, along with its retinue of four hours each day, is always uncertain, and such faults are easy to understand. If it moves sequentially, then ascending twelve houses and descending twelve houses will result in twenty-four houses. If you say that outside of the six houses, each side is simply named as the six ascending and the six descending, then this is almost like an iron chain and the way it rotates. This will be examined below. If you think of it like a brick in a wall or a tile on a roof, then it must be determined whether it is twelve or six. If it is twelve, then it is the same as the above examination; if it is six, then it will be harmed by the reasoning below. On this point, on top of the view that the four seasons are the same in the four continents except for ships, there arises superimposed hats, iron chains, wet leather, etc., all of which can be explained with one reason. On this, there are many reasons here, but even one reason can realize that these are all false. Just as when killing an enemy, any one of arrows, spears, knives, etc. can be used in turn. This reason is like this: if according to your statement, when the sun is at the edge of one continent, it must be at the edge of all continents; when it is at the center of one continent, it must be at the center of all continents. Like this, when the sun is above the constellations, it is the lowest time. Using the example of a candle, it is believed that the sun in this continent is the shortest. Similarly, other continents must also be the shortest. For example, if the daytime in this continent is twenty-six hours, then the seventh continent counting from the front of this continent, which is the northern continent, must also be twenty-six hours. The sun in this continent is twenty
