Those two objects, namely the self-grasping consciousness, concept and eye consciousness, are contradictory to being mistaken, because they are consciousnesses with an object to be grasped, like the eye consciousness grasping a pot. Second, divided into two parts: the answer and its refutation. First, someone says: There is no fault, even if those two have an object, but on a rope, like grasping a snake, the concept itself is mistaken, it is not established as a mistaken consciousness because there is no object. Second, that is not so, if one only considers the appearance of grasping a hair, because there is an object, that is not mistaken. Because there is no object snake, grasping a snake is mistaken, therefore, because one grasps what is not an object as an object, grasping a snake is established as a mistaken consciousness. Second, regarding the inference that an object can appear, divided into two parts: the text and the refutation of the answer that eliminates its fault. First, if those two appearing objects are from consciousness, becoming different objects, then for an object to be able to appear, other people who are in it, if they believe in the vision of the other party, must be able to see it, just like a pot and a pillar, etc. Second, divided into two parts: the answer that eliminates the fault and the refutation of that answer. First, someone says: Even if those two objects are different things from consciousness, like the inside of the body, like not being seen, those two mistaken appearances also, because they are always related to the seer, myself, being in a place where an object can appear, other people cannot realize it, is that so? Second, divided into two parts: the refutation of the example and the refutation of the meaning. First, that is not similar, because the inner body is not something that can be an object, because it is cut off by obscuration. Therefore, not only others, but oneself cannot see it either. Second, divided into two parts: the text and the refutation of the differences, etc., of the answer that eliminates its fault. First, if the object possessor is only constantly related to oneself, then those two objects are not the objects of others, is that so? Then, because it is only related to one's own mind, not common to anyone, so even if one speaks like self-awareness, others will not realize or understand it. Second, divided into three parts: the answer and the re-answer, etc., internal differences. First, someone says: Even if the objects are not each different, but the objects in front of each person's mind, because they are related to each person's mind. One person speaks of his own object, and the other person can also realize that object in front of his own mind, is that so? That is not reasonable, because the expression of two people

Meaning of. One is not related and independent, so it cannot be combined and understood together. Second, if it is said that there is no fault in that, because the general meaning of the vase possessed by each of the lecturers and listeners, such as the two phases of the mind such as abdominal distension and bottom shrinkage, are similar, so they are attached to the similarity as one, and the name is established for this reason, so there is no contradiction. The answer is: If the two realms of teaching and listening appear to oneself, then that is one's own uncommon realm, but it is impossible to hold it in common, because what appears to others cannot appear to oneself. If it does not appear to one's own wisdom, then it is not the realm of that wisdom, so it is impossible to know that they are similar to each other, so it is impossible to understand the meaning. Therefore, how can one cling to and hold as one the objects taken by each other, because that one does not appear to that one in the mind of that one, and if it does not appear, it is impossible to generate knowledge of similarity. Third, if it is said that the objects in front of each person's mind are different in meaning, but they are not recognized as different, and the object in front of each person's mind and the self-character of the object are held as one, and they are held in a confused way. The answer is: Without a common general meaning realm, if one does not recognize that it is the appearance of each person and holds it as one, then it does not conform to the actual situation of the realm, so it is a confused wisdom. Such a general meaning is not the object to be taken, but is established in that way. Third, conclusion. The meaning is shown by the intermediate verses. With the reason of present power, if we observe the two objects taken by such a confused consciousness, although there is no real object character, most people still cling to the existence of the object. For example, when asked what is the void, when pointing to the void with the fingertip and saying that this is the void, looking at the void pointed to by the fingertip, although nothing can be seen, the fools mistakenly think that I see the void. So said. Intermediate verses. Second, one's own sect. After refuting other sects in this way, if one establishes one's own sect, then the ultimate or characteristic of the object to be measured is only the self-character. If it is directly measured, it is the object to be taken, and if it is indirectly measured, it is the object of attachment. If both are taken by a man, it is the object of non-deception.
