Wala! If there is nothing to exclude other things, then it is impossible to say this "I." Therefore, the horn of a cow also exists, or the vase also does not exist, because the horn of a cow must exist. Because it can be measured. It is necessary that it does not exist. Because it can be measured. The pervasion exists, because the thing that can be measured and the thing that is established as a basis are considered to be the same thing. It is necessary that the vase does not exist. Because it is not of its own nature. That is because the vase is not a gold vase, nor a copper vase, nor any other vase. The pervasion exists, if it is of its own nature, then it is an individual. If you say so, then returning from something is first from the form of sound to wisdom. Generation is like this, but first realizing it in meaning, and then it is necessary to express it with sound, this is not necessary, therefore, what appears in wisdom and what is examined in meaning are mixed together. In order to enter into meaning, appearing conceptually like this as realizing in meaning, or merely appearing as realizing in meaning, this is an examination, not in meaning. Oneself, through wisdom, according to the power of wanting to express words, arbitrarily attaches any symbol. And, also guides and speaks this symbol according to the direction and time one wants. It is not the case that all sounds are directly related to things, but not expressed through intention. Therefore, the use of sound depends on the individual's intention. Third, summarize the key points. What one wants to understand through intention is not expressed in a way that proves its essence. Rather, it is used by excluding other things, only through distinction. Through the name or its suffix, what is the meaning one wants to determine? In fact, it is the power of words, or even similar words, that are understood from the meaning of the situation at that time. First, an example of the power of words is that the word tree can cut water, etc. Depending on the situation, it can also be understood as the deer in front. In fact, suffixes can distinguish meanings, such as the suffix "only" combined with the basis, and the suffix "only," etc., depending on the suffix and the situation, it can also be understood as "only black" is accidental, and "existence proof" is accidental, and so on. Through this general indication, second, explaining the meaning of the situation in detail is divided into three parts: expressing the views of others, examining them, and pointing out the meaning of the key points. First, especially in this Tibet, some people mix the expression of symbols, and whatever they say in affirmation or negation, commitment, whether yes or no, etc., they say is a mistake. Second.

This, whether it is or isn't, should be examined first; it is not to be rashly asserted without examination. Upon examining it, all forms of establishment are included in establishing 'is' and 'exists.' All forms of negation are included in negating 'is not' and 'does not exist.' Therefore, from the perspective of contradiction, it is impossible for the object to be established to be both 'is' and 'is not,' or neither 'is' nor 'is not.' If such a situation were to exist, then 'is' and 'is not,' etc., would become not mutually exclusive real contradictions. Merely in terms of the exclusion of others in sound and meaning, like impermanence and permanence, and existence and non-existence, as well as general knowables, etc., there is no contradiction even if both exist. This is because the exclusion does not turn back from itself to become a common ground where both are 'is,' but because this general sound meaning of turning back has no substance. This generality appears to follow the particular, and through the particular, it seems to be given the distinction of both being 'is.' Therefore, no matter which side one speaks from, whether 'is' or 'is not,' most of the faults that become errors in language are merely spoken words that include the speaker's own intentions, which are the cunning tricks of clever people. However, it is appropriate to throw these faults at the non-Buddhists who believe that words are used under the power of things themselves. Using deceptive means of piling up similar words to deceive children is just a comical joke. If one also believes that these words are just as they are, that is an unfounded blind trust, like seeing the eye of meaning but only seeking the footstep of expression. The third part is divided into: summary, detailed explanation, and conclusion. The first part: all such usages as substance, generality, etc., arise only from the sound of the name. The second part is divided into: abandoning combinations that damage the sound, and establishing combinations that do not damage the sound. The first part: for a name, the essence of the sound and the connecting affixes should not be uttered in a reversed manner. If one argues based on this, it only shows the arguer's own ignorance of terminology. The second part is divided into: summary, detailed explanation, and conclusion. The first part: even if the sound and connection are not damaged, but one expression does not show things that are similar in meaning but different, it actually applies to two meanings in common, and is distinguished and connected by the speaker's intention.
