如是说,其中,Ārya(梵文天城体:आर्य,梵文罗马拟音:Ārya)是圣,Ratna(梵文天城体:रत्न,梵文罗马拟音:Ratna)是宝,Traya(梵文天城体:त्रय,梵文罗马拟音:Traya)是三,Anu(梵文天城体:अनु,梵文罗马拟音:Anu)是随,Smṛti(梵文天城体:स्मृति,梵文罗马拟音:Smṛti)是念,Sūtra(梵文天城体:सूत्र,梵文罗马拟音:Sūtra)是经。 所谓的宝,是从梵语Ratna(梵文天城体:रत्न,梵文罗马拟音:Ratna)一词引申而来,意为珍宝,也即以出现稀少等六种法与珍宝相似,故称之为宝。

And also by relying on that, one will be liberated from all suffering. As it is said, the Buddha, the Bhagavan, is the sole refuge for those who desire liberation, his teachings are the sole entrance, and his Sangha is the unparalleled place of offering and the companion on the path, with faith born of unwavering conviction. One should remember the qualities of those refuges. In the 'Mixed Praises' it says: The beginningless and endless samsara, Exists within the ocean, The body is devoured by the terrible, Crocodiles of desire and so on, To whom shall I go for refuge today? For whom, all faults, Are completely and utterly non-existent, And in whom, in every way, All qualities have been transformed and abide. If there is a mind, Then go for refuge to him, Praise him, honor him, And abide in his teachings. As it is said. Therefore, the foundation of all paths is the faith of remembering the qualities of the refuge, therefore, to explain a little about the way of remembering the Noble Three Jewels, there are four parts: the meaning of the title, the salutation of translation, the meaning of the text, and the meaning of the conclusion. First, in the language of India: Ārya Ratna Traya Anu Smṛti Sūtra. In the Tibetan language: འཕགས་པ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གསུམ་རྗེས་སུ་དྲན་པའི་མདོ། (phags pa dkon mchog gsum rjes su dran pa'i mdo, The Sutra of Remembering the Noble Three Jewels). As it is said, Ārya means noble, Ratna means jewel, Traya means three, Anu means following, Smṛti means remembering, and Sūtra means sutra. The so-called noble, although the object of distinction is different depending on the place from which it is superior, here all the phenomena of the transcendent world are called noble. The so-called jewel is derived from the word Ratna, meaning precious jewel, that is, it is called that because it is similar to a precious jewel by the six qualities such as being rare to appear. And the Tibetan word 'rin chen' (precious) alone cannot fully express its meaning, so it is translated by meaning, directly taking the meaning of 'rare' and 'supreme', so that the other four meanings can be indirectly understood. The so-called three, refers to the definite number of the teacher, the teachings, and the Sangha who study them. Qualities are the praiseworthy distinctions that will be explained in the text. The so-called remembrance, refers to the qualities of the refuge that are inherently present in that way without exaggeration, outward

Remembering with undistorted wisdom. The Sutra only speaks of the root or essence. Second, the translator's salutation: Homage to the all-knowing! It means knowing all aspects of knowable things, without omission, without mixing, and without obstruction. At the beginning of the translation, the translator pays homage to the Buddha himself. Third, the content of the text: Remembering the qualities of the Buddha, remembering the qualities of the Dharma, and remembering the qualities of the Sangha, there are three in total. The first is divided into three: briefly showing the qualities that are the basis of distinction, explaining in detail the cause and effect that are the characteristics, and summarizing that part. First, it is explained from "Thus" to "Bhagavan". Among them, thus, the characteristic of the name, Buddha Bhagavan, is so widely known in order to prove that he is the supreme teacher. The reason for this is that, in terms of both self-benefit and other-benefit, first, understanding the nature of all phenomena as they are is the Tathagata, which also shows that one has realized the suchness without error and enables others to realize it. Arhat is: In general, an enemy is something in the world that steals goodness and bestows unpleasant things. Similarly, here, the root of all faults is the afflictions themselves are the enemy. Uprooting it together with its habitual tendencies is called Arhat. Perfectly enlightened Buddha is: The sound of Buddha mainly means realization. The nature of the sound is similar to waking up from sleep and a lotus blooming. Here, it also symbolizes the object of expression of the way of realization like waking up from the sleep of ignorance, wisdom expanding on knowable things, like a lotus that is freed from the mud and fully blooming. Therefore, in order for the Tibetan language to express the power of sound, the respective meanings are gathered together and translated as "Buddha". Before that, the near translation "Sa" etc. is added. It is called "Perfectly Enlightened". If only from the meaning of the sound of Buddha, it also includes self-born Buddhas and tenth-ground Bodhisattvas. In order to distinguish from this, "perfectly" is used. The sound may also refer to a demon transforming into a Buddha, or the wisdom of each of the ten grounds reaching its ultimate conclusion. In order to distinguish from this, "correct" is used.
