If the dharma to be established by the argument is not something else, but the argument shows another dharma to be established. It's like this translation. Also, if something other than the argument shows the dharma to be established, it's the same. For sound, there are no multiple dharmas to be established, and the argument should also be consistent with this, being multiple and not singular. Multiple dharmas to be established are collective meanings, such as sound is impermanent and lightning is impermanent. These can be established by their respective arguments, or one argument can establish multiple, and multiple arguments can establish one, but not one argument only establishes one. One argument cannot establish multiple, for example, if permanence and impermanence are established on sound, they need to be established by their respective arguments, not by one argument. Moreover, there is no argument for establishing permanence, because it has already been established as impermanence. What involves both is uncertain. Although the argument cannot pervade the dharma to be established, in order to understand the thing to be established, if it is thought that the sound produced by effort does not exist, like lightning, etc., then it seems to be unestablished. Moreover, the effort-produced itself residing in the sound does not completely establish all the dharmas that become impermanent on the sound, but only establishes impermanence. Twelfth, doubt is the same: that is, the reason behind the same doubt is that from the different meanings expressed by the name terms, it is argued that the argument is doubtful. For example, if the sound of the conch is established as impermanent by effort-produced, then, does this effort-produced mean that the previously existing effort makes it clear, or that the previously non-existent arises, because of doubt, it cannot be established. Like this. In this regard, the proposition "sound is impermanent" is also a negation of what did not exist before, or it is not clear, causing doubt. If one speculates on the dharma to be established with one of reality or intention and doubts, then the establisher of these two is an uncertain reason. If there is doubt about the reason itself, it is said to be unestablished, but because the term is not important, the meaning is not established, so it is seemingly so, but not uncertain and unestablished. Therefore, in the case of speculating on the dharma to be established, it is said to be a seemingly uncertain reason, and in the case of speculating on the reason, it is said to be a seemingly unestablished. Thirteenth, the meaning is understood to be the same: the meaning of establishing impermanence with effort-produced, or implying that lightning, etc., are permanent, if it is thought that it is not so, it is also a dissimilar side. The sound of the conch is impermanent, establishing effort-produced as the reason.

If it is impermanent because it arises from effort, then in reality, since it does not arise from effort, it should be permanent. If so, then things like lightning, which are considered impermanent, would become permanent. Therefore, establishing permanence is a fallacy of equivalence in meaning. This is a delusion, that is, for the permanence of what is to be established by others, such as the unmade, there is no arising of effort, and establishing it by that means appears to be so, that is, it is a delusion or uncertain. The fourteenth, the fallacy of equivalence to a consequence is: Also, considering it equivalent to a consequence, when establishing the impermanence of the sound of a conch shell by arising from effort, if a pot is given as an example, then what is the example-reason that only the pot is shown to be impermanent? Because there is no concomitance in the example of the property to be established. Saying that if sound is established by a pot, then the pot is also equivalent to that consequence, how is the pot established? While establishing the pot as impermanent. Here, saying "established" shows that there is no example, and both opponents are the same, and the path of reasoning is disputed by establishing it through examples, therefore it is a fallacy spoken as if it appears like an example. That is also the fallacy of examining the entrance to the path of reasoning of both opponents by holding onto the example. For all fallacies, only a brief explanation of the classification and method of answering is given, and it is so. For these fourteen fallacies, in debate and establishment, there are three faults: reversal, falsity, and contradiction. Non-encounter, dissimilarity, distinction, non-difference, similarity of results, etc., are the faults of reversal, that is, they are devoid of the definition of reasoning and have the harm of reasoning. Equivalence to a consequence and understanding of meaning, etc., are not established as promised, because there is the harm of valid cognition ( प्रमाण,pramāṇa,pramāṇa, measure), so it is false. The unarisen and the same, the permanent and the same, etc., are the fault of contradiction where the promise and the reason cannot coexist, and these three faults are shown by summarizing the points. For this, the three faults cannot be shown separately, because each fallacy arises with all three faults mixed together. Establishing them separately is meaningless, because the meaning is the same. The three cannot be shown separately without mixing, because the type is the same. For the definition of fallacies and the difficult ways of answering them, one should also understand the subtle reasoning of combination, and it also shows the examination of the reasoning of footprints. Fallacy.
