Any conception that holds something contrary to its actual state, which falls to either side of defamation, is called the extreme of two kinds of conceptualization. To be free from those extremes and to enter the meaning of the Middle Way as it is, know that this is the practice of a Bodhisattva's path that abandons the two extremes. The above fifth and sixth sections together are indicated by "the special one and so forth:". Special practice and non-special practice are to be known in the ten Bhumis. What are they? For example, the first Bhumi mainly practices giving, and the second Bhumi particularly practices ethics, etc. From these aspects, it is called special practice. In all the Bhumis, all Paramitas are also perfectly practiced. From this aspect, it is called non-special practice. Thus, through the six doors of practice, the unsurpassed path practice has been explained. Now, the second is the unsurpassed object of focus, which is indicated by "distinguishing and establishing and so forth." As the basis of practice, how does one focus on the object and enter? It is not like the narrow focus of the Hearers and others, but rather it is a focus in the way of thoroughly determining the profound and vast meaning, so it is an unsurpassed object of focus. That itself has four aspects in terms of its essence, and eight in terms of its boundaries, making twelve in total. That is, accurately focusing on the meaning of the various Dharmas that are distinguished and established, such as the ten Paramitas, Bhumis, paths, Dharanis, Samadhis, etc., and focusing as it is on the profound meaning of reality, which is empty of the two selves. The second is to summarize through the two truths, focusing in the way of determining the broad and deep meaning. The object to be cultivated and the object of focus of the practice are both from the perspective of the previous two. How so? Because all aspects of the vast path are included in the ten Paramitas, so taking them up is focusing on the Paramitas to be cultivated. Because of realizing the profound Dharma realm, those Paramitas are also held by the wisdom that realizes the purity of the three spheres, becoming a special practice of skillful means, which is called the object of focus of the practice. The Paramitas that are held by the wisdom that realizes the purity of the three spheres are all without outflows.

It is said so because it is the unsurpassed path and the transcendent perfection that transcends the world. Through possessing these four ways, the object is unsurpassed. Moreover, in the stages of the path, the object becomes an object by way of increasing from above. That is, the wisdom arising from hearing focuses on the realm of phenomena and generosity, etc., which is called the object of grasping. The wisdom arising from thought endowed with four reasons focuses on these two and understands the meaning, which is the object of definite grasping. Similarly, the object focused on by one's own wisdom arising from meditation is the object focused on in the manner of truly and completely grasping. In the first ground, it is the object of directly and completely realizing the realm of phenomena. From the second to the seventh ground, realizing these six grounds is the object of completely expanding from above. In the seventh ground itself, all the teachings of the sutras, etc., are comprehended, and the object of conceptually understanding the phenomena of existence and peace in a signless manner. In the eighth ground, it is the object of being free from all effort and activity and abiding in tranquility. The ninth, tenth, and eleventh grounds, on these three Buddha grounds, there arise excellent wisdom, excellent activity, and excellent purity, and these are their objects. In the ninth ground, since the excellent wisdom of the four individual correct knowledges (Tibetan: སོ་སོར་ཡང་དག་པ་རིག་པ་བཞི།) is attained, it is the object of excellent wisdom. In the tenth ground, since the excellent mastery of activity is attained, it is the object of excellent activity. In the eleventh ground, the Buddha ground, since the excellent purity of completely purifying all defilements and obscurations of knowledge is attained, it is considered the object of excellent purity. Because that extremely pure wisdom sees or focuses on all phenomena of suchness and all phenomena of existence. Third, the unsurpassed accomplishment of truth is shown by "without lack," etc. Entering the Mahayana path, whatever temporary and ultimate fruit, any accomplishment that is more excellent than what can be attained by hearers and solitary realizers, is shown in ten ways. That is, the ten ways of summarizing the meaning of all Mahayana are said in this way, in the Ornament of the Sutras, it says: Faith in lineage and Dharma,

Just as it is said, "Thus is the generation of the mind, the practice of generosity and so forth, the entry into the faultless, the complete maturation of sentient beings, the complete purification of the field, the non-abiding nirvana, the supreme enlightenment, and the teaching." As it is said, the awakening of the Mahayana lineage, and the cause of awakening is faith in the Dharma of the Great Vehicle, the generation of the mind in unsurpassed enlightenment, the practice of the six perfections, the faultless entry into the first Bodhisattva ground and entry into the state of the noble ones, and the skillful means of completely maturing sentient beings, and the complete purification of the Buddha-field, and the realization of the equality of samsara and nirvana, and the completion of the Dharma of non-abiding nirvana, these three are mainly the qualities included in the pure ground. Finally, the attainment of the supreme fruit of unsurpassed enlightenment, Buddhahood, and after attainment, the continuous teaching of perfect enlightenment or the way of the Buddha as long as samsara exists. That is, the continuous activity of benefiting sentient beings by the form body itself as long as samsara exists. In accordance with this principle, here also, the virtuous friend who teaches the Great Vehicle, etc., is endowed with the four great wheels, and there is nothing lacking in the cause of awakening the lineage of the Great Vehicle, that is, the lineage is truly accomplished, which is the first of all causes. Similarly, not completely abandoning the path of the supreme vehicle is the true accomplishment of faith in the Great Vehicle, not being distracted by the Hinayana mind is the true accomplishment of the Great Vehicle's generation of the mind, completely perfecting the six perfections is the true accomplishment of practice, and in the first ground, transcending the world, generating the true undefiled Dharma, entering the faultless path is the true accomplishment, and from then until the seventh ground, the roots of virtue increase more and more for a long time, so the complete maturation of sentient beings is the true accomplishment, and in the eighth ground, the mind is made workable by non-conceptual wisdom, and the five consciousnesses that look outward are transformed, so the complete purification of the field is completely accomplished, and the equality of samsara and nirvana is realized, and the afflicted mind that looks inward is transformed, so the meaning of non-abiding nirvana that does not abide in the extremes of samsara and nirvana is seen.
