It is said in the Sutra of Manifesting Intentions. The realm is mentioned in the Sutra of No Increase or Decrease. Bodhi is mentioned in the Sutra of Garland of Jewels. Qualities are mentioned in the Sutra of No Increase or Decrease. Activities are mentioned in the Sutra of Entering the Inconceivable Realm of the Qualities and Wisdom of the Tathagata. If combined with the way it is said in one sutra, then these seven vajra places, through the connection of their own characteristics or essence, that is, in a simultaneous and continuous manner, also in the order shown here, are found in the Sutra of the King of Dhāraṇī Empowerment, and also in the Sutra of the Great Compassion of the Tathagata Requested by Him. How so? It should be understood that the introduction of that sutra explains the first three vajra places. As it is said: "Bhagavan, having perfectly awakened to the equality of all dharmas, having well turned the wheel of dharma, possessing an extremely tamed and limitless assembly of disciples," and so on. The remaining four places are explained by teaching the sixty qualities of the path of the wise bodhisattva that completely purify defilements. First, the buddha-nature is made clear. As it is said: "If there is a realm, then by doing actions, one will see mustard seeds and oil dregs. If there is no realm, then even if actions are done, it is only tiring and exhausting." As it is said, in order to manifest the essence of the dharmadhatu, which is the basis for purifying defilements, it is reasonable to teach the method of complete purification. The sixty complete purifications are: the four ornaments of a bodhisattva, the eight appearances, the sixteen great compassions, and the thirty-two activities. From the division of the Victorious One's teachings, the latter three places are taught. How so? It is clarified by teaching the eighty divisions of the Victorious One's teachings. After teaching the dharmadhatu, the sixteen aspects of great compassion of the great bodhicitta are taught, thus clarifying bodhi. After that, the ten powers, four fearlessnesses, and eighteen unshared qualities are taught, thus clarifying qualities. After that, the thirty-two unsurpassed activities of the Tathagata are taught, thus clarifying activities. It should be combined in this way. The order is that all dharmas are equal.

From manifest enlightenment arises the turning of the wheel of Dharma, and from practicing according to the Dharma taught, the assembly of noble disciples arises. From the Sangha, one obtains the purification of one's own essential wisdom realm from various obscurations. The so-called attainment of the realm is not newly attained, but refers to the special disposition of having definitely matured the cause for enlightenment. Then, gradually, one ultimately attains the wisdom that is free from all adventitious stains and manifests through power, which is called supreme enlightenment. This enlightenment possesses immeasurable qualities such as strength, and is endowed with the Dharma of activities that accomplish the benefit of all sentient beings who are to be tamed. Thus, from the Buddha comes the Dharma, from the Dharma comes the Sangha, and by the Sangha purifying the realm of one's own continuum, enlightenment is attained, thereby arising qualities and activities. Furthermore, there are two sequences of the supreme Three Jewels as the fruit to be attained, and the four, such as the realm, as the cause. The former is the Three Jewels together acting as the cooperative condition, and the realm of one's own continuum acting as the cause, thereby attaining enlightenment and so forth. The latter is one's own realm as the substantial cause, and the enlightenment and so forth of others' continuums as the cooperative condition. These two sequences of cause and effect are taught in this text. The detailed explanation of the branches has two parts: the Three Jewels to be attained as the branches, and the way of attainment as the detailed explanation of the four places. First, explaining the Three Jewels has three parts: the individual essence of the Three Jewels, the way of establishing the Three Refuges, and explaining with definitive words. First, the individual essence has three parts: the ultimate refuge is the Buddha, the sacred Dharma Jewel taught by him, and holding onto that is the essence of the Sangha. First, the essence of the Buddha has three parts: stating the object through the door of praise. What is the Buddha? It is that which has no birth in the beginning, no abiding in the middle, and no cessation in the end, thus lacking the three characteristics of conditioned phenomena, and therefore being unconditioned; pacified from elaboration and conceptualization, spontaneously accomplished; the Buddha himself, not relying on others, but enlightened in a self-arisen manner through the wisdom of individual self-awareness, and therefore not to be realized by other conditions. Having thus become enlightened, possessing the three Dharmas, and knowing all knowable things, for those who have not realized in this way
